Next week then.
4231? Or maybe 4321?
Really hard to see anything other than a defeat but maybe Wembley will raise our game like it has so many sides.

Kane hat trick and a 5 or 6 thumping. May as well be realistic

I think we need to be a bit canny next week or else we'll get bossed in CM.
I'd go 433
With the likely personel we'll have (no Indi or Geoff)
.............Butland............. Zouma.....Ryan.....Wimmer....Eric .......Allen........Fletch....... ............Afellay.............. ....Shaq...............Choupa.... .............Diouf...............

He's back in training and isn't Fletcher. And I'm thinking there's more chance of me getting a game than Edwards and Zouma moving into midfield as should happen. So it seems like a good compromise.

Butland
Edwards Ryan Zouma Pieters
Cameron Fletch Allen
Shaq
Diouf Choupo
If GCam is fit, I would chuck him in to pack the middle, bring Zouma through the middle to cover BMI and play Edwards at right-back. I would give Shaq a free role and go for Choupo over Crouchy alongside Dioufy as Choupo is more Dynamic.

Agreed with the above though that Spurs maybe too soon.

He's hooked him twice so I think he's starting to see it. Don't agree with the Afellay thread though, I thought he looked like a lost little boy today.

You'd like to think there is one last game left in Spurs bad run, but somehow you just know there isn't

What he actually did was keep the ball/pass to Stoke players thus preventing Swansea scoring.

He slowed us down like he usually does and to our detriment like it usually is. It changed nothing.

Swansea had the ball second half until Afellay came on,that's what changed. They had the ball for most of the second half. Nothing changed. We were wank bar 15 minutes before half time. Great 3 points but the second half was painful, start to finish.

I wonder what it's going to take for Hughes to finally drop Fletcher? It's not going to happen. That would be like admitting he'd made a mistake by signing a 33-year old player. Further even if cameron's back in training, after all several weeks out, he's not likely to last 90 minutes.

I'd like to see.
--------------------Butland-------------------- Edwards--Shawcross---Zouma---Pieters ---------------Allen-------Fletcher------------ --------------------Shaqiri-------------------- Choupo------------Diouf------------Jese
Attack their full-backs, they're missing Alderweireld and Sanchez and I think Poch will start with Trippier and Davies who are not strong defensively.

I would start Crouch.
I would also take a gamble and play Berahino off Crouch's flick on's.
I've got this feeling that could be the answer for him.....
