That can’t be right the pantomime villain has to be a buffoon! Quick get someone else in stage left for the bullies to boo 😒 To be fair those stats mean fuck all. Yeah just twist em as you will pal. One stat not on there is the pressure he created on Fer to allow Allen to nick the ball off him for our first goal but he won’t get credit for that from anyone but those who see what’s going on 🤔😎

I've honestly never booed Erik - he really is toss though. Why single him out, though? We have quite a few ordinary players.

None of the top performing defenders in the premier league are on that stats list, thats what tells me its another misleading stat.

Pieters = 36 Shaqiri = 32 Fletcher = 30 Allen = 29 Zouma = 28 Bruno = 26 Thats our top players by completed passes for the game Edit: Interceptions: Pieters = 5 Allen = 3 Bruno = 2 Moting = 2 Wimmer = 2 Touches Pieters = 77 Zouma = 64 Shaqiri = 58 Allen = 52 Crouch = 51 Shawcross = 41 Fletcher = 40 To me this shows 2 things. First Pieters had a good game. Stats can lie but I did think he played well in this one. Second, that he has more touches and interceptions because the opposition goes at him seeing his side as a place they may have an advantage. Or he has uncanny anticipation? 😜

18 caps is more than a few and over 6 years and different managers. Well before this poor Dutch team (I assume you are deleting caps of all Dutch players on the basis of their overall performance - including Robben?). Strange how you decide who he would and wouldn't have played for over the past 5 years. But I suppose you know what every other manager in the Premier League thinks. You haven't answered my question. I'll give you a little clue, it's because he's been beyond gash for over 12 months now. Oh. You were asking a serious question were you? Are you mistaking me for the Dutch national team manager? I'm honoured. You're the one who knows who would and wouldn't pick Erik not me. You've made that clear.

I wouldn't be too honoured he's failed miserably It's pretty obvious why Eric Pieters doesn't get picked for a really poor Dutch national side really so I apologise for asking a question that the real answer proves that he's not really all that good.

As I said, you win. Clearly not being picked recently for a national team proves your statement that he is the worst left back in the history of the Premier League and wouldn't play for anyone but us (not an exact quote as I can't be arsed to look back). You are an inspired debater who has evidence to support your claim and I couldn't possibly argue against your magnificent logic.

You’re havin a laugh pal 😂😂 it was Peters who forced him back inside by closing him down in the middle of the pitch in their half Diouf fell over on the wrong side of the protected ball and was nowhere near it. Less pressure than Pieters and was a potential foul by Diouf actually but I suppose people see what they want to see.
