If Ramadan was our best player would he want to leave? If Wimmer was our best player would he want to leave? Just because he’s had a few good games does that make him or anyone else want to leave? His form is erratic and I don’t think he has played consistently for us to warrant a move to a bigger club surely??

Probably not. He's the main man here. The star attraction. He's loved. He'd leave in summer if we went down but I don't think he'll be fussed about our current position so long as he's the star man. Not in a bad, selfish way obviously. But he's not exactly playing badly, why leave now? He's loved that much that his only song gets sung by about 25 people in Block 19. I think apathy reigns at the Bet365 these days. No one can be arsed any more.

Right now he's so far ahead of the rest of the team, it's not even funny. The way we are playing combined with a formation that doesn't suit the players we have, if Shaqiri gets injured or leaves in January we are totally up shit . reek without a paddle.

We'll be up the creek without one, if he stays, on present form! Totally clueless! Another two wasted points! I've had a few rants, but I'm not going to let it spoil the rest of my weekend, as it usually does! Wednesday will be another embarrassment, no doubt! Thankfully I'm going for a meal, and won't be there!

No doubt in my mind he is going in January. These first three months have been his shop window. He's got a bigger shop window in the summer...if he wants to leave. Because going back to the top clubs like Bayern is not an option for him, if he wants to play all the time. That's the lesson he must have learned. At Stoke he is first choice if he is fit, and while it's taken some time, he is now the key player in our team. He might not get such a position if he goes to a "more ambitous" club. He must look at Arnautovic and how it hasn't exactly worked out for him. However if he's looking for a big pay day as a result of a transfer then there's clubs out there like Liverpool or Spurs who'd be good for him and where he might find a place in the team, if those clubs lose some of their current stars like Coutinho or Eriksen. if not, then he'll be sub at most.

don't even think it's cynical to say the upcoming window is a big reason for his excellent form right now, just how the biusiness works these days. but then, surely his and his agent's agenda coming to Stoke in the first place was always to put him in the shop window for a Top 6, Euro-qualified club?

With a silent “c”, but a spot on assessment. Questions have to be asked about our “.oaching”, our “re.ruitment” and the “.ash” spending. Absolutely no organisation means we are “.rap”which really hurts for the supporters whose “.are” and “.ommitment” “annot” be denied.

The chances are he will indeed wish to leave.
The way Hughes is strangling our club, I wouldn’t blame him either.

Shaq and Jack with both be leave in the summer and fans slag Arnie for leaving he like all of us can see we our only going in one direction. The fans slag arnie off for two reasons The way he went about the move if you want some respect you leave with a bit of dignity you don't give a false reason people didn't take to him in the first place as he appears to have a ego larger than his ability

Would any of our players want to stay, none of them are born and bred Stokies are they? They are like 90% of players today, they will be off once they get a better offer from elsewhere. They would do us a favour if they fucked off, Alternatively, the “manager” and the “coaches” could lead the way..

Wouldn't surprise me if he had a "niggle" for Wednesday night and was kept back for the Swansea game.

such a wonderful goal today didn't even warrant a mention from Linekar and co. we are lucky to have him. They highlighted zaha and loftus cheek !! Obviously they are decent players but their was only one star ... Shaq Interestingly not even lineker could have scored that goal . Lineker was very good . But when Shaq is on it he's sensational

Shaqs philosophy is ...
There is no i in 'team 'but there are six in 'outstanding individual brilliance'
Wears a bit thin that one , if you are having an off day , but when he is on it he's brilliant

Everyone is blaming hughes of strangling our club I believe that the whole blame should be attributed to the Coates family because they kept Hughes in charge when it was clear that the time had come to have him replaced amd they are always penny pinching making us the lowest spenders in the EPL

There is a lack of ambition at the club! No doubt at all. Something needs to change. Soon.

We are in a relegation battle and playing very, very poorly. So a move to most premier league teams is a step up. Unlike Arni, Shaqiri has given no indication if he plans to leave or stay. Arni signed a new contract and then openly criticized the management, which was a very sneaky move, to increase his value to other teams. Shaqiri has a lot more integrity.

I can't see Shaqiri leaving before May. His injury record and lack of goals. He needs to prove himself this season. He is doing, he's looking a lot more consistent this season.

When Shaq and Jack leave in the summer I really don’t want Hughes to be the man reinvesting that £50-60 Million 👀

When he signed for us after we had finished 9th, he probably thought we would be pushing on for European football. I wouldn't be surprised if we receive an offer for him in January but I don't think we can afford to sell him.

I wouldn't be surprised if we receive an offer for him in January but I don't think we can afford to sell him. I'm sure he would have been told when we signed him from Inter that the ambition was to finish in Europe, and the manager even came out and said that's where we wanted to be, and I'm not counting Cameron's silly Champions League comment. So far this season he has been much more consistent than previously. If he keeps up playing like this he will not be here next summer. Something would have to change dramatically for him to stay, say somehow getting into Europe through the FA Cup or league position (which either doesn't look likely we can do atm). A very talented player who currently must be very, very frustrated at what is going on around him.
