Noticed he's only played 2 games for Alaves on loan who are 2nd from bottom in La Liga.
Is he injured or just can't get into a poor team?

He played for the last 20 minutes on Saturday against Valencia. I watched the game on TV. Pushed off the ball quite a bit. He didn't show any sign of that magic he displayed before the Rochdale injury I am sorry to say.

If he can't handle the physicality of the Spanish league it might well be time to hang his boots up and maybe go into coaching I would imagine he could teach academy lads quite a lot

There is that one last payday but I just think he'd be happier nearer to Spain Does seem sadly the end of road as far as Premiership football is concerned. Our issue is that I believe he has at least another 3 years left on his contract. Edit: Yep 4.5 years starting in Feb 16. So around about 3 years left.

alaves.elcorreo.com/abelardo-explica-bojan-20180103225228-nt.htmlThe blue white team could look for the exit of the player loaned from the English Stoke in this winter market Bojan had already had several conversations with sports director Sergio Fernandez during the day yesterday, one of them in the Sant Francesc field. In short, everything points to the Alavés seeks to find an outlet for the player in this winter market

I do feel sorry for Bojan but I do think he's done at the top level.
That said he'd still get on our bench.

He's not doing it anywhere though is he. How can a guy with so much natural talent be so poor? His attitude has always been questionable. I questioned it when he signed. That was fun. And I think that's shown in some ways here how he wouldn't really fight for his place in the side and wanted the move. Some would see that as a good thing, others as quitting. I did think he left too soon. And then obviously injury.

Saying that though if no one wants him he'll be a cracking player for us in the championship, he should rip that up?

He's not doing it anywhere though is he. How can a guy with so much natural talent be so poor? To be fair I don't think he's had a shot in a team with any attacking talent. His best season was 2015/16 with Shaq/Arnie alongside him on fire. He'd be in our XI atm considering we have no real number 10. Him/Shaq/Choupo behind Saido would be my choice, for a run of 5-10 games. He has his issues but it's still a shame that Hughes had such confidence in Joe Allen to be our creative talisman that he loaned out someone of Bojan's quality.

Football is a very tough game at the top level. If you aren’t prepared to put your body on the line week in week out you won’t make it.

It's all on paper, theoretical... I'd see Bojan and Shaq as either/or's in the Prem, especially if our midfield's got Joe in it too. Nice players, but the combination of them I can/have seen just knocked aside by most teams nah. Skittles. Bojan flourished best in the false9, back up from 3 in midfield or in a 442 thing alongside Walters or Crouch off the bench. That kind of stuff would be great as an option, but it's getting the ego to buy into that which seemed to be the issue though.
