Talk amongst inhabitants of the custard bowl that he's going to wolves. Surely not? probably sell him for £2m + add ons. (buy) Loan to wolves would be a surprise. Why would he get more game time at a team cruising the Championship?

Since we signed him, does anybody know how many games he started and played for 75 mins plus? Don't know but a more telling figure would be how many games has he started since being fit.

I actually feel sorry for him, bet him, along with about 3/4s of the squad are praying Hughes gets sacked soon

I really don't understand the berahino situation. Hughes came out with that stuff about us not playing in a way that suits berahino.. Why didn't he try changing tying or considered that before buying the guy after an 18 month chase?

Plain and simply useless.

It makes you wonder, if Hughes wanted him in the first place. Does he have complete control of signings? Because lately we brought some shockers

Berahino is not as gash as he's made out to be
Would like to see him given a fair chance in a system employing 2 up front with him feeding off a bigger man ( preferably this side of 35 years of age)

I'm saying it MUST of been Hughes wanting Berahino and solely Hughes, Hughes chased for him 18 months, not Pulis when he was in charge at stoke, so it wasn't like it was Bowen after him, or Cartwright, because if it was, we would of chased him under TP

Berahino suits the striker role in a 4231 with 3 creative players rotating behind him. Had he been up front with Shaq/Bojan/Arnie behind him i have no doubt he'd have scored goals.
Of the games he played last season mentioned above, 3 of them were 442, with no creativity in the middle, and the other one was with no number 10.

I don't even know what your point is. What's Pulis got to do with any of this?

He did warn us before we spent millions on him that he was not a natural goal scorer, and guess what he was spot on in fact he isn't a goal scorer at all.

I hate to be in a position of "I told you"....but many posters begged Hughes to steer clear of Berahino for various reasons from being a one season wonder to having baggage that increased once he was signed. Hughes probably doesn’t consult the Oatcake before splashing out £12m but a few dozen or more on here were not wrong.

If the internet was around during the days of Mike Sheron and Mark Stein people would have said the same though? Managers have big egos and always think they can be the person to "change" a player or to resurrect his career, it happens all the time. The risk was obvious, the reward was a natural goalscorers who was relatively young with potential to increase in value. Some you win some you lose, if he gets no game time between now and January the only conceivable option is to send him out on loan to a Championship team and hope he rebuilds his confidence in readiness for next season......
