How many should we cater for...

Zouma, Butland, Bruno, our 18 million quid centre back Wimmer, Allen, Fletcher, Shaq, Choupo, Crouch, Sobhi, Jese..only marginally better? You can talk all you like about the money but top half of the championship against bottom half of the Prem is normally a close run thing if the Championship team has home advantage. If you don't believe me check out the odds. Bet365 have a 50% chance of a Stoke victory and with the remaining 50% split between a Bristol City win and a draw. If you think we are certs don't waste your time arguing with me, lump on it instead! Bristol just thrashed derby and drew away at Wolves too so not going be a easy game,we going have be on top of our game

That said, I've never seen a great game for them or us at Ashton Gate.

Which muppet selected the shit v Burton for TV? They always have Manchester United on regardless of who they are playing. I think about a quarter of the nation have some kind of loose allegiance to the Red Devils so it's the only way to max out the viewing figures and in turn appease their advertisers for whom 'exposures' are all. Nothing else makes any sense to a corporate organisation whose raison d'être is profit.

One sniff of Guinness and everyone is donning silly green hats, waving a shillelagh and claiming Irish heritage (17 steps removed). People want to be involved in a big event and they want to feel connected. Manchester United are an easy allegiance for people who know nowt about football, never been to a match in their life and wouldn't know Matt Busby from Busby Berkley. It's easy money for the advertisers to pin the tale on the biggest donkey.

Bristol City could well make a load of changes themselves. Hope so because they are a decent side normally.

Interesting to see if he stays wedded to the 3-at-the-back system tonight.
He'd probably like to give both Crouch and Berahino a start.
Grant Johnson-Zouma-Wimmer-Tymon Shaq-Allen-Adam-Sobhi Crouch-Berahino
Haugaard-BMI-Fletcher-Verlinden-Choupo-Jese-Diouf

Anyone know if the League Cup is high priority for Bristol City and if they will field a full strength side?
Now they are flirting, perhaps unexpectedly, with a play-off position I wonder if it may have slipped down the priority order.

I have a bit of a bad feeling about tonight. Bristol C are in good form and a top half champ side. Our recent performances against similar sides doesn't bode well. last season we bombed out of the cups against Wolves and a second eleven Hull side in a horror show of a performance. Just last week we were justifiably beaten by a Newcastle side full of average championship players. To Hughes's credit he usually puts out strong sides in the cup but our lack of fire power up front may well cost us yet again.

Think will be a close match but we should have enough quality to beat them. And we should have a reasonable following as well

I had a work colleague who lived in Worksop who was a Man U fan, a relative in York who is a ManU fan, and last week I met a kitchen fitter who lives in Leeds who was talking football with his mate; I said you must be a Leeds fan, he said no Man. United. They are everywhere you turn. They say you are never more than 6 feet away from a rat, I wonder what it is for a ManU fan?

This from Bristol City fanzine website:
"Vyner, Flint, Hegeler, Hörður, Brownhill, Pack, Eliasson, O'Dowda, Taylor are all starting. Hörður left back and hegeler centre half. Other two undecided until later. Steele likely to be in goal though, waiting on fitness tests."
