I'd play the best team we have including Butland, we have a marginally better team and they have home advantage, it's even stevens, we need to tilt the odds in our favour or wave goodbye to this competition. Zouma, Butland, Bruno, our 18 million quid centre back Wimmer, Allen, Fletcher, Shaq, Choupo, Crouch, Sobhi, Jese..only marginally better?

Grant Tymon Wimmer Martins Indi Johnson Ramadan Adam Cameron Verlinden Berahino Crouch This but with Edwards at Rb and the midfield of Fletcher and Allen, they need to get used to playing regularly together.

I think berahino needs to start this one, a game like this is the perfect way to get a goal. Wouldn't risk choupo as I think he was our best player behind shaq on satuday. I think we may aswell use zouma as we don't have him for Chelsea and we don't want an upset. Cameron and shawcross out isn't helping us for a cup game but hopefully they'll be back for Chelsea. I also think Allen and Jesé have had 2 poor games ( man united and Newcastle) so I would give them a run out for a positive performance. I'd go with Grant Zouma Wimmer Bruno Verlinden Adam Allen tymon Ramadan Berahino Jesé Also, would someone going be able to get me a match day programme and I'll give them the money at the Chelsea game? Thank youuu I'm going and can get you a programme. Will have to post it to you as I live in Taunton. No need to pay me

You can talk all you like about the money but top half of the championship against bottom half of the Prem is normally a close run thing if the Championship team has home advantage. If you don't believe me check out the odds. Bet365 have a 50% chance of a Stoke victory and with the remaining 50% split between a Bristol City win and a draw. If you think we are certs don't waste your time arguing with me, lump on it instead!

Massive opportunity to advance to last 16... With the exception of Grant in for JB sentiment must go out of the window and field the strongest possible side. Dare I say even at the expense of Saturdays game against Chelsea, though a Tue night game should give all concerned plenty of recovery time...

Anyone know which obscure location they have picked for the next draw. Heard a rumour it was on the International Space Station, it needs the money. Be prepared for some weightless ball-bag juggling.

Grant; Johnson, Zouma, Wimmer; Ramadan, Allen, Adam, Tymon; Berahino, Crouch, Jese This is the most sensible team I have seen posted. It keeps the 3-4-3, rests our most important players who are needed for the Chelsea game (Zouma cannot play, Geoff is out, but Ryan hopes to make it), gives Wimmer and Jese more game time and increases our goal threat with Crouch and Berahino, the latter who desperately needs a goal or two. It should be good enough to give us a very good chance of a win too! It leaves the following team for the weekend, with only Joe, Kev and whichever of the strikers who impresses starting both games: Butland Shawcross Martins Indi Wimmer Diouf Fletcher Allen Pieters Shaqiri Choupo Moting Jese/Crouch/Berahino

The crucialness of this game shouldn't be underrated. A huge part of last season's disappointment was going out of both cups so early. We really need to win.

The crucialness of this game shouldn't be underrated. A huge part of last season's disappointment was going out of both cups so early. We really need to win. Yes it was and yes we do. The League Cup exit at home to Hull reserves and the FA Cup exit against local rivals championship Wolves both at more or less the first hurdle simply knocked the stuffing out of us. Sparky bravely tried to reignite the flame by talking up "7th" as a possibility following our FA Cup demise but no one quite believed it and our season simply unravelled

Full strength team for me, same as Saturday but maybe Berahino in for Jese. We can win this cup, it's daft if we put out a reserve team and go out of the cup, Bristol are a decent team.

I'd go 4-4-2 with the personnel we have available. We have good personnel available for a difficult tie. Why would we want to go and change our shape again? Bristol City are playing well and are a Championship team. Nobody's pushover! We shall need to put out a good eleven. IMO:- Grant, Zooma, Martins-Indi, Wimmer, Sobhi, Tymon, Allen, Fletcher, Adam, Crouch Berahino Subs: Choupo, Jese, Shaqiri, Verlinden, NGoy, Butland, Souttar If you don't want to change our shape, why do you pick a team that has three central midfielders and two central strikers? That's not the shape we're in!

I hope Bristol City do play a weakened side as any team that can beat Derby 4-1 is not to be underestimated.

I have never understood this current trend for playing the reserve goalkeeper in cup matches. Surely goalkeeper is the one position where the player is not going to get tired so why is he rested? We are more likely to win this match with Butland in goal than Grant so why are you all picking Grant in your teams? To keep No 2 sharp and ready if needed!
