Not everything he tries comes off, but he really is starting to show his class now. Must be a nightmare to play against. Lets hope he can stay relatively injury free

Constantly wants the ball. Always trying to make things happen. Ok it doesn't come off all the time but the lad seems intent on making a statement this season. Keep going shaq

I wondered if this was the right kind of match for Shaq, but he certainly kept them occupied and worked hard throughout. Best he's played for a while, in my opinion.

He looks half a stone lighter than at season and a yard quicker aswell bud. He just looks a bloke who is on mission. He must be a bloody nightmare play against with his low centre of gravity and how he twists... the little shit

Starting to drop deep and make things happen from deeper as well as in the last third.
We could really be on the cusp of a sensational season.

He really got to Bailly, he blew his top. If Bailly played for stoke he'd have been sent off, he kneed shaq in the head then kicked through him, because shaq took the piss

Goes down like a fairy one second then puts lukaku on the floor with a shoulder barge the next.

Coming inside a bit I think helps. He always wants the ball and I think he's finally twigged that he needs to move the ball quicker

Playing much better this season, helped by the fact there is more movement in the team, some very intelligent runs by Choupo and Jese today.

He's benefiting from this formation although he's working hard for the team and dropping a bit too deep in my opinion. I'd like to see him float about in the dangerous areas just like Hazard does for Chelsea.

Great player, I just hope we can get a run of games from him, some of his footwork today was sublime and resembled the argentine tango!

Superb when he went shoulder to shoulder with Lukaku and put him in his arse, shows the strength of the man.
Frustrating, an enigma, but we're a far far better team with him in the XI.....

He really got to Bailly, he blew his top. If Bailly played for stoke he'd have been sent off, he kneed shaq in the head then kicked through him, because shaq took the piss just before that he also tried to have a go at berahino and zouma. Not sure if he should have been sent off, but definitely deserved a booking. Worst of all, it was right in front of the referee's assistant!

I nearly ran onto the pitch to hug the midget genius!!!!

If we can keep him fit, I can see him doing some serious damage this season. Constantly looking for a killer ball, and now has more movement ahead of him with Choupo and Jesé both making smart runs. He looks up for it, and hope it lasts.

I'm far from a Shaqiri fan but he was good today. Looks at home in that system rather than stuck out wide.

He's quality ..no doubt and he seems to be playing and linking up better with our new players, who are more able to work with him.both intelligence wise and making runs into the right spaces ....let's hope we can keep him injury free ..for he is a joy to watch when on form .
