If he plays like that all season he will be moving to a major Champion's League team next summer for a huge sum of money.
He is an absolute class act at his best.

Just wanted to mention Shaq today. I feel like he has been great in pretty much every game he's played this season.
He seems to have the desire which I had not been sure about before. His delivery is great and he keeps trying to create and make things happen.

Thought that he and Arnie likes playing together but since Arnie left Shaq seems like more of a leader.

Shaq knows that now that Arnie has gone that he is the one real truely class player who can turn a game and he is revelling in the responsibilty
Lets just hope he can keep fit

Arnie moving has woken up Shaq. He knows now that what he needs to do in order to get a big move, big pay rise and a signing on fee
We get a great season out of him so win/win

He seems much more bought into it - wants to win the ball back and stand up for himself more.
Definitely getting more opportunity to play centrally with the formation change which is giving him far more of the ball. I wish he had a recognised striker to play to in front of him as I think he could be deadly with more movement ahead!

It's a bit of a worry how much he's carrying us creatively.
I shudder to think what'd happen if he got injured.
He's been great this season and is looking like the player we hoped we'd bought now he's the fulcrum of things in the middle

Superb again yesterday. He wasn't kidding pre season when he said he's going be the man to push us on. He looks fitter, sharper and a player that wants to make a statement. It seems we have got to the bottom of his training routine. Keep it up shaq and that 30m sale is yours at the end of the season

Certainly becoming the main man , good to see . Much better when he can get on the ball rather than being stuck out wide

Can't see a thread so I may as well create one! This for me was easily one of the best performances I have seen from him. I thought he was brilliant! Please can we see more it took him a while to get involved in the game, his body language was off in the first half maybe fatigue related or maybe results related, he reminds me a bit of arnie. But you have to say hes one of our best players, technically gifted, scores goals and whenever we score he usually has something to do with it

Most chances created in the Premier League this season:
De Bruyne 24 Silva 23 Mkhitaryan 21 Shaqiri 20 Fabregas 17
If he stays fit he'll only get better as the season progresses......

Wow he is in some serious company there apart from fucking Fabregas of course. Scary to think of how we will cope when he picks up a knock.

Don't get me wrong, he's been great, but to pin all our attaching hopes on him is a little alarmist. Alarmist...your word not mine. Would be interesting to see who at Stoke is next after Shaq in terms of chances created. I have a hunch it will be some considerable distance behind Shaq...even ManC without De Bruyne and Silva would be weakened so it's not unreasonable to speculate we would struggle to create without Shaq. Maybe you have an answer who would fill his role as chief creator?
