I've never been a fan of his and was slated on occasions when I had a pop at him in the past. He does have skills in his game but there were aspects of his game and his attitude at times that left me sighing. For me he will be no great loss. Wins away at Southampton and two decent performances this without him seem to confirm that. I hope now we can lift the mood of doom and gloom that we will struggle early season and push on.

A better team without Shaq in it. 🙈 You can't honestly mean that. Yesterday maybe, overall I doubt it.

Always an easy thing to say after a win, but Arnautovic isn't a team man and does/did look a toxic influence and we've done well to get all that money for such an inconsistent player

Jese did everything and more of what Shaq does. Moting is completely different and a good different. He offers an easy out ball with his aerial ability and will take on a man when it's on the deck. He's also much better defensively. What it did make me think though is how a 4231 with this lot could be. Moting Shaq Jese It's pretty much got everything.

Ramadan and Verlinden left and right possibly too. We are looking quite healthy in this area and I like it. Diouf, Berahino, Crouch and NGoy. In something like that order for me up front, I think Jese is key to unlocking defense's and bringing the best out of a striker... And Diouf gets into those positions and makes the runs that could convert from Jese for my thinking.

Armies gone. He was a decent player for us. Just forget about him, why are some fans so bitter because a player decides to move on, its football.
As for Shaq. He's our best player if we can keep him on the pitch ,so how on earth can you say we are better without him. If we are to finish top ten this season Shaq will need to play 30 plus games imo.
Celebrate a great game and congratulate the players who played but it's a long season and we will need Shaq and plenty of others throughout the season.

The one good thing is, it looks like hughes is back to 'I'll do what I s' and not worrying about how the opposition going to play and counteracting.

Jese is as good if not better than arnie and we now look a much stronger team with some much needed upgrades. Once a few players get upto fitness levels expected in the prem then we should be more competitive for longer during games. Our new players also need more playing time together so this could be an exciting season after a very positive start.

I thought Shaq looked very good before he went off but was very pleased with the new lads especially once Chupo went wide he's not a cf in a million years. I too commented on how useful rhe lofted outball to Chupo was big as Arnie was he didn't really do heading it.

I was a big Arnie fan but it's already obvious that Jesé is a lot more composed in front of goal. Let's be honest Arnie would have snatched at that chance......

Only sad that we cannot keep him after this season. Big 6 team in PL and other big teams going to be all over him if PSG want to let him go to these teams. We are just lucky to have him this season. Enjoy as long it last.

Arnie was good for us, don't let his cuntish antics rewrite history eh? He certainly was but I for one had talked myself into thinking he was a complete player who had everything yesterday showed that to be untrue both the new lads bought things that Arnie didnt as I'm sure he has attributes they don't. Just shows you're always more comfortable with what you know even when you think you're not adverse to change.

A showy player who plays for himself not for the team.
He helped stoke in some games and was the worst player on the pitch in other games.

At his best , I don't think it's true, but his replacement may turn out to be more consistent, was very impressed with his attitude so far.
