Yep.......precisely why I wrote " if...... he becomes available to us " His personal agenda will be a key component in any possible transfer. Yes to satisfy that the club would have to have a season beyond our wildest dreams. I dunno mate..........my dreams can be pretty wild at times

He wouldn't get in our side... Yeah he would. Too right he would. Some of the tripe written on here is a joke. Jese plays 70 mins and all of a sudden is a world beater and a better player than Arnie?. Load of fuckin hypocrites getting excited over what was a very lucky win.

Early to tell the big change so far I've noticed this season is better defending . A few positive attacking signs yesterday but let's see how they do over the first quarter of the season . Arnie had some great games

He only turned it on when he felt like. Stoke give him the chance with his career and he throws it back in our faces arrogant twat that he is . If he thinks West Ham is a better prospect than us good riddance to him.on many occaisions acted like a petulent kid spitting his dummy out and we do without that

Arnie had something special about him. Maybe I liked the moodiness that many others didn't. Whatever the reasons, I loved watching him play for us and nothing will take that memory away.
Hopefully we've found better replacements, and the team can move on and be better without him. I'll be the first to celebrate if that's the case. I just can't find it in me to re-write history about how much I enjoyed watching him play for us. He'll always be one of my favourite players to pull on the red & white.
It didn't stop me laughing at what happened with him yesterday though, the big lummox!

There's some absolute tripe written about Arnie here, I suspect mostly by people who just can't let him go

I've never been a fan of his and was slated on occasions when I had a pop at him in the past. He does have skills in his game but there were aspects of his game and his attitude at times that left me sighing. For me he will be no great loss. Wins away at Southampton and two decent performances this without him seem to confirm that. I hope now we can lift the mood of doom and gloom that we will struggle early season and push on. It's too early to say whether or not we'll be better off without Arnie. As for our new players, I thought Jese and Zouma looked fantastic. Choupo looked off the pace to me - we probably won't see the best of him until he's got a few games under his belt. And Fletcher got caught a couple of times in possession but, again, is probably a bit ring-rusty. I'd still like to see more pace brought into the side, but overall, very promising.

Yeah, you should acknowledge what a terrific job Hughes has done to make the club £20million on a player and replaced him for nothing without the team missing a beat.
Go on.[/quote]
You're right. Hughes did a great job with Arnie. Pity he couldn't have done it with Imbula, Joselu, Bony, Wollscheid and so on.
Anyway, by the looks of Hughes yesterday he might finally be getting his mojo back. Not before time.
If he keeps it going I might even change my mind about him. Have you? Or are you sticking with "time to go?"?
