Superb today. Best hold up play I've seen from him and good assist. And great header which Cech saved.

Competition and knowing he can get dropped will help spur him on.

Fantastic today, THAT is the player West Brom had on their hands during that goalscoring season.
Held the ball up well, made the right runs..very unlucky with a header in which he had no right to win at all.
Great performance from everyone

He was excellent in what was a very difficult game for him considering the lack of quality ball he got.
Could yet be what we all hope for.

Good play with assist today, but have to work harder and be more active.

Sometimes a little thing like an assist can make a big difference to confidence? He did lots of decent stuff today though 👍

So pleased for him today.
Talk about fine lines - he could just as easily have been subbed off for Crouchy and written off for good...

His best game so far. Seemed very prepared to work hard for the team, great assist and so near to scoring.
He has to build on this now and show he can contribute when we have more of the ball.

Play him behind a main striker and he'll get a fuck load of assists and score a bag full himself. Still doesn't work as a line striker and needs more fine tuning- like making himself available down the right flank near the end for example. But he'll come good, I believe that.

I thought apart from the assist he was totally useless again. He doesn't press enough, cant hold the ball up and is generally lazy. We still need a proper number 9.

Bera was good today.
Took a while get into the game. The first 20mins he was on the pitch he didn't seem to want the ball. But when he got the ball and took a man on his confidence shone through. Especially with the assist. If he scored that header, he would have scored another.

I think confidence is a huge thing for him , anonymous before the goal move he seemed to have a massive weight removed when he set Jese up and looked much brighter after. Great movement for the header . I'd be tempted to give him an hour on Wednesday in the hope he scores

When i read stuff like this I realise there are some people who simply don't know football. He came on and as soon as we scored we parked the bus. For most of his time on the pitch we didn't have another player within 40 yards of him. Didn't press? What did you expect him do, run across the whole back for and midfield chasing players when everyone else was on the edge of our box? Is he the right man to lead the line? Probably not but this post is drivel at best.

Would this routine happen to involve shitting in his baseball cap, placing it back on his bonce and patting him on top of the head? I know you, GeneralFaye.

He needs a goal, and from what I saw today its not far away. Can't wait for the crowd to erupt for him when he smashes one in.

Thats totally true - he never gets down the channels to relieve pressure. Every time we cleared the ball he seemed about 10 yards away from the play. Even with slow as Crouchy you know hes gonna hold up the ball at least. Either be a target man (Crouch) or run the channels (Vardy) or do both (Lukaku) We were penned back and he doesnt have the pace to help us counter attack. His best performance tonight by a mile but still 16 games without a goal and counting

Fair do's saying that, he needs to learn to run the channels. However, his hold up was better than previously, great ball for the goal, and he filled in and cut the passing lanes very well today. A lot of your criticism seems to unfairly ignore the shift he put in. Buzzing for Saudi today, hopefully that'll keep him on. UTMP
