love his attitude and his football brain. i really thought he would be massive for us but sadly it never happened esp after last year when he did get a run in the team only to be sidelined by injury.ithink at best the bench for us if he wants regular football then sadly he will have to move on.could be the end of stokealona.

Muniesa has to go sadly but when he does we should insert as big a sell on clause as is feasibly possible.
If he can stay fit for any length of time he will ultimately be transferred for a huge sum of money.

If you install a sell on clause it means you sell a player cheaper as the purchasing club won't pay both ways mate It'd be one or the other

Spanish radio saying Getafe want him too Selling Muniesa for 3m plus a 25% sell on clause seems about right to me. The worry is whether any of the middling Spanish clubs can afford his wages.

Spanish radio saying Getafe want him too Good grief FM, .... you are the first to report what's in the papers & on the interweb, now you're picking up what's on foreign radio stations! Are you permanently "wired for sound"? P.S. keep up the good work.

www.marca.com/futbol/girona/2017/08/07/598832cae2704e4a5a8b45dc.htmlFaced with the probable continuation of Ramalho and doubts around Kiko Olivas, Girona is moving to bring in a central accompanying Bernardo and Alcala in the center of defense and dispute the position to Juanpe. The name that sounds hardest is Marc Muniesa, Stoke City player, who is liked a lot within the coaching staff. The center has one year contract and the English club refers to his clause, but Girona has since the end of last season been dealing with Stoke City.

If we can get £2M and a sell on clause installed we should sell at once! Seems to be a nice bloke and a favourite by a lot of fans, God knows why, but not strong enough, not fast enough and takes too big risks playing it out of defence. In my opinion simply not suited to the PL.

www.diaridegirona.cat/girona-fc/2017/08/07/setmana-clau-als-despatxos/860750.htmlGirona wants to accelerate the negotiations to complete the squad in the coming days so Machín has the maximum number of players to prepare for the premiere in the League · Mojica (Rayo), Muniesa (Stoke City) and Marc Gual (Sevilla Atlético) are Some of the players with whom they are talking.
The option of Marc Muniesa (Stoke) has been reactivated in the last days. The economic difficulties that also entails being one of the teams with the lowest salary limit, if not the least, leave them with less room for maneuver than the rest of clubs.

If the plan is for the 3 at the bollocks won't we need more back up at CB?
I'd keep him as he's very well suited to the system and can slot in on the left.

I'd prefer him at LWB to Pieters honestly. He's got a better footballing brain going forward

I'm not sure if there's a typo in your message matey, but my own opinion (for what it's worth) is that Cameron would provide better centre back cover than Muniesa.

I think we need a pool of 5 if we're playing this system regularly. Cameron for the right and Muni for the left. Muni is a way better defender too.

If it's a choice between Muni and Wolly, it's Muni anyday! I think Wolly is a much better central defender than Muni. He is more physical and is much better in the air as well. OK, he turns like a tanker, but Muni also looks awfully slow to me. Anyway I prefer Cameron to both of those two though!

Moving to a 3 at the back enhances the importance of Muni! Muni should NOT be sold. He can play as a LWB or as one of the 3!
Personally he would start ahead of Pieters. He sees a pass far better and links play better too.

Girona is a lovely old town, I'm surprised they have a la Liga team though, it can't be much bigger than Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Both Muni and Cameron can play centre-back in a 3 (more pace and vision than Ryan) and defensive centre-mid (albeit with limitations). So PROVIDING WE SIGN Indi - I think both are of more value to the squad than Ryan.

I'm amazed we started with Cameron on the left of the back 3 at the weekend. Muniesa's days here, sadly, are numbered. I had hoped that if he started the season on the left of a back 3 or alongside Ryan (impossible with Zouma's arrival) that he would nail down his place in the team.
