Source seems to be Dean Jones who broke our interest in him.

In all fairness our manager doesn't seem all that interested in him despite him being easily our most promising player

Football Insider verdict:
Sobhi has shown very little in his debut Premier League season....

If we let him go, Hughes can fuck off. He can fuck off anyway, but if this happens he can come back just so he can fuck off again.

We can always play Walters on the wing if/when Shaq or Arnie get injured, so I wouldn't worry too much about Ramadan going ๐

This young talented player is just getting wasted under Hughes, it is a proven fact our manager don't do youngsters, would be better off going to a club that appreciate him

Maybe why he not been playing ? Deel may already have been done and Stoke don't want him to be injured ? If true. Stoke don't deserve fans backing. Shows no ambition. There again... Clint hill available on a free. He only 65 so well within our age policy ! ๐๐๐๐

Really does answer the not playing question though? We all confused with this situation. But we can see what Liverpool can see... A very very good strong player.

This is just another situation that adds to the cloud of mayhem and confusion that hangs over the club at present. After being our attacking bright point in the draw at Man City and the defeat to Liverpool he was poor like the rest of them at Leicester. Since then heโs played a grand total of 22 minutes in the next 6 games despite him being the one positive thing that supporters were clinging to in a desperately dour season.
I know its been asked a lot of times on here recently but just what the fuck is going on down there at the minute. Itโs utterly bizarre.

Let's be honest here, Ramadan is a twenty-year-old who already has 16 international caps to his name. Yes, they might 'only' be Egyptian caps, but they're still international caps and if he continues to gain them at that sort of pace for the rest of his career, he'll be one of their all-time most capped players. He's widely regarded as a very bright prospect and, while ยฃ5m might not be much in the modern market, it's a princely sum to be paying for a lad who was, at the time, just 19-years-old.
A few months ago, he came in to the team while Shaqiri was injured and did a really good job. For the first time in a very long time, I was genuinely excited about the raw potential of a Stoke City player. It was the right decision to bring Shaq straight back into the side when he was fit, but the way that Ramadan has been treated since is pretty shocking. He should have been coming off the bench regularly in the games that we have been chasing recently to bring some direct running into the side; there is a relatively strong case to be made for him, Arnie and Shaq all starting together with Shaqiri down the middle. Instead, the lad has been dropped without a trace and had to watch while Charlie Adam and Walters are regularly brought off the bench over him. Even earlier in the season he came in vs Swansea and West Ham and did a decent job, and still lost his place on the wing to Walters and Diouf (who are good players but, quite frankly, not natural wingers)
If he was pissed off at Hughes, I wouldn't blame him for a second. The Liverpool rumour is likely to be nothing more than a rumour, but, as much as I hate to say it, it would make sense. He'd fit in well to Klopp's high-pressing style and wouldn't get any less games than he's getting here.
It's honestly disgraceful the way he's been treated recently, it and all comes down to poor man-management. The same reason why Marc Muniesa and Bojan are likely to leave the summer. I'm honestly starting to get worried about what the squad will look like next season; if it's full to the brim of ageing Tony Pulis-era signings while younger players start to leave in search of regular football, we will never be the side we aspire to be.

If he knew of our interest in advance of the deal happening, and now he's breaking that Liverpool are interested, that's not a good sign even if he is just a shill for Ramadan's agent...

Liverpool can fuck off and if hughes even thinks about doing a deal he can fuck off to. we have good players in our squad if hughes carnt make them tick its time for a change of management

I can see Hughes wanting to swap him for Sturridge who I do rate but is too much of a sicknote.
If we lose Ramadan in the summer then Hughes is going to piss off the Stoke support way more than he thinks.
Im sure Coates wouldnt let this happen

New manager.. New direction.. Fresh start. It's becoming very very boring and a management system that's quite happy to finish mid table every year.. We deserve more ambition from one of the richest men in the country.

I think we're getting our knickers in a twist over nothing here. Not really, he's good enough to be starting for us and for some reason the manager doesn't agree. If we play a midfield two with Shaq in the hole then maybe. That would also mean Arnie switching to the right. However, we're not quite there yet. I think Sobhi is an exciting prospect but it's hard to start him at the moment. I do, however, agree that he should have started more games when Shaq was out and come on more as a sub.

If this did happen and it's a very big if then it shows how little ambition we have, sobhi should be starting games shaq is a naturally better number 10 than he is a winger. Hanging sobhi out to dry is nothing short of a disgrace.
for me our core team should be
Butland
Ryan Bruno
Allen Imbula
Sobhi Shaq Arnie
Berahino
We only really need new full backs and then replace some of the older squad with younger back up players but players who can push for a place
