There were loads in the John Smiths lower closest to the Boothen too. There were quite a few dotted around by us, I guess people had nice things to do over Easter and not watch that shite!

Has to be season ticket holders not turning up. Attendance was 27K.
Happens at Old Trafford, official recorded is 75K but I've watched Stoke there on weeknights and there's easily been around 10K empty seats.

Can we please now, once and for all, shut the bloody family stand. Bloody sick of the bloody thing. Empty seats even in the big games, half empty again on 70 minutes. Disgusting and embarrasing.
What is it with the adults in there? Do they say 'they you go son (daughter) daddies took you to see the football, mummy will be pleased with daddy tonight!! Oh and by the way, sorry for you missing stokes two worldy last goals'
Bloody shut the family stand once and for all.

That was the lowest Saturday home crowd since promotion. Barely 25K in the ground.

The family stand definately needs making smaller (Someone please tell me I'm wrong in thinking that the new corner is going to be added to the family stand?)
We also need some unreserved seating, or atleast some kind of system put in place to let people move from the family stand (as age dictates) into other areas of the ground.
I'm sure that for the last ten years (And it's becoming more obvious every year) that people who've got kids who've grown up either don't give up their family stand seats (Hence the empty seats due to the kids not being kids anymore) and the kids who're now teens & wanting to go with their mates have nowhere to go 'cos the ground is soldout to season ticket holders.

Can't we just close it completely and put some sand in the roundabout and let them play in there? Either that or have the stewards with electric zappers to zap the adults as they leave on 70 minutes. Stick some voltage through the fuckers (not the kids obviously)

Put the kids in with the away fans...That will toughen em up a bit for when they become young casuals, and eventually N40...By god we will have a firm to be reckoned with...

Fucking wank Stoke.

For a supposedly sold out fixture, there were plenty of empty seats knocking about throughout the game. But the family stand has been a big issue (for me anyway) all season. Even against man utd, chelsea etc we don't fill them to start with, and it looks like the picture above on 70 minutes every week. I'd lock the fuckers in until midnight. Kids play on the playstations your mum and dad aren't going anywhere.

Perhaps people who stay for 90 minutes should be given points.
If we had to swipe our season cards as we left the ground we could single out the vile recalcitrants who leave on 70 minutes and punish them.
People who stay would be given additional points for their loyalty

I hope you will be taking pictures off all empty seats then on your agenda to moan. Yes there were empty seats around us. But why are you just taking pictures of areas where there are children and not all the parts of the ground with empty seats
