Oh no - not another leaving early thread !!! There were a lot of empty seats though, presumably due to Easter but not that many I must concede!! why did they have to get their Easter egss? Enforced holidays at the caravan in Towyn more like 😄

Perhaps if the council actually spent tax-payer's money on improving the City's roads and traffic flow infrastructure, rather than bundling wads of cash up into brown envelopes and bunging it, under the table and backhand stylee, to the same dodgy companies to design and build numerous white elephants up 'anley duck, then these people might not think that they have to leave early doors.
Just saying.....

I hope you will be taking pictures off all empty seats then on your agenda to moan. Yes there were empty seats around us. But why are you just taking pictures of areas where there are children and not all the parts of the ground with empty seats Because most of you daft sods bugger off on 70 minutes every week.

I could understand 85 mins onwards to a certain extent, but half empty on 70 minutes!!!! Zap them!!! JCL's. Zap them. Then set fire to them.

It being Easter might have something to do with it. I bet Rhyl was busy today. Spot on. Families taking their children away for half term and Easter - shock horror - who'd have thunk it! Bloody hell, must be some holiday. August to May!

Tell me was everyone singing 'we'll be with you' as they filed out ?!

Hate them with a passion?JCLS?Please do not tar everyone in a stand with the same brush, there are plenty of people/old faces in that stand who have been going Stoke as long as me (35 years) and have moved there from the Boothen and other areas of the ground,as its the only way they can give their kids the same opportunity that my dad gave me,to watch and support Stoke live together

I forgot it is only the family stand where anyone leaves early. And by the way we never leave early never have and never will

The '5' in the Bet365 spelled out in the seats was visible for the whole game.
What is worse; not selling tickets or folk having tickets and not bothering to turn up?

Easter Weekend, a busy time for families to go away as it's the first real opportunity to get away since Christmas?
People reading too much into things?

Can we please now, once and for all, shut the bloody family stand. Bloody sick of the bloody thing. Empty seats even in the big games, half empty again on 70 minutes. Disgusting and embarrasing. What is it with the adults in there? Do they say 'they you go son (daughter) daddies took you to see the football, mummy will be pleased with daddy tonight!! Oh and by the way, sorry for you missing stokes two worldy last goals' Bloody shut the family stand once and for all. The new corner, I'm lead to believe, will be an extension of the family stand. On today's evidence, I find that an incredible decision.

My boys are 9 and 7 they are members of whatever city this and that. We live miles away so pointless getting a season ticket, even if we could afford it. Their membership normally entitles them to a £5 ticket once a season. Seems great, but is usually on a midweek evening game.... remember we livie hundreds of miles away and they are 9 and 7. I accept that, that's my problem, I live miles away so can't expect SCFC to fawn all over me. However if you go to the website, it mentions great ticket offers for younger fans. I have phoned many times, never have I got tickets in the family stand. Me and mine would have driven the 235 miles to be there today....had we been given the choice

Each ticket is swiped on entrance ,they know who is in.It cannot be rocket science to see whose coming for 2-3 games a season after paying £23 for a season ticket for little Johnny and Jemima to watch Arsenal or the shit.

There's got to be some way of either making sure people use them or they can be resold. But there were lots of seats around the place today. I couldn't give the spare ticket I had away.

I think somebody mentioned this last week, there must be a way of giving these seats to people that want them surely like you say, and I am sure there is a waiting list for the last 4 home games. I think it will be full the last two games? Especially Arsenal.

There's got to be a simple system in place where you can resell tickets via the club.

Some of us live out of the area AND are not in a position to make plans months in advance. So for me there are never any tickets. Every game sold out.
So that is annoying. Clearly hundreds of season ticket holders gave this one a miss. Where were these people offering their tickets for free on here! At least have the decency to do that!

Was sat in the Fam Stand today and you could tell alot of the regulars were missing and guessed this was due to people taking Easter hols with their kids. This probably explains why the Family Stand was looking more spacious than the other areas of the ground. The club definitely need to introduce a seat sale option for fans who can't attend certain games so it gives others the chance to snap up available seats. I'm sure the club could offer some kind of incentive to encourage people who can't make a game to contact them up to say 12pm on day of a match to offer their ticket up it would work. The club could sell the tickets for whatever match face value is for that particular game, possibly slightly discounted & offer club shop points up, say £5 or £10 per ticket to the ST holder. That way the ground would look full on a Match Day, Stoke receive some extra revenue they wouldn't otherwise have got and the ST holder gets something back for having to miss a match & offering their seat(s) up in the meantime. Sure the club could think up reasons why it can't introduce such a scheme but im convinced it could be tweaked to work. Sure other clubs offer up similar systems to this.

This is so easy to solve, and all it requires is an option for season ticket holders to be able to log on to scfc direct and have an option to resell/give up ticket for games, that way the club make more money and could possibly give a certain percentage back to season ticket holder. Simple! Sorry Callas12 just seen your post, two great minds think alike and all that 😊

I didn't go today and had no way of giving my ticket away
It's debatable whether i can make the West Ham game and i definately cannot make the Arsenal game due to being on holiday. But thanks to the club's lack of a system of ticket reselling my seat will have remained empty for the last three games

butlerstbob - no probs matey, definitely great minds thinking alike and at the same time too it would appear! I rambled on abit and you managed get straight to the point.. So sure the club can sort something out concerning this. Know it won't always be possible as things can occur late on to stop people who are season holders going but where work, holiday commitments etc are prior known, this would surely benefit all concerned.
