Each ticket is swiped on entrance ,they know who is in.It cannot be rocket science to see whose coming for 2-3 games a season after paying £23 for a season ticket for little Johnny and Jemima to watch Arsenal or the shit. "Vis Unita Fortior" Yes, £23 season tickets are the elephant in the room here.

Nipper#2 to me as we played Beat the Pop Ups in an attempt to find a stream to watch the match on-line: "daddy, I thought you said we couldn't go because it was sold out but there are LOADS of seats."
"I know mate, it does my swede in."

Watched onTV and was embarrassed about the number of empties. This was middle of the halves, so not the car park crew or last drinks mob. Easter hols might mean that some were away but I had season ticket holder relatives who loaned their seats and could have done so several times over. There should be no excuse for so many dead seats when folk are missing out on the game. I know that ManU brought in draconian steps to prevent this happening at OT (threatening to take seats off people ) which I didn't agree with but we have to think of something that avoids our ground looking like Vale Park when we are on the world stage.

They ought to have a scheme where, if you inform the club that as a season ticket holder you will not be attending, thus allowing the club to sell your seat for that game, and use the revenue to discount next seasons season ticket, say 5 quid for every game you miss, on the proviso that the club sell yr seat.

I don't get up as much as I'd like to and got my Hull ticket 4 weeks ago. Closest I could get to my mate was 2 rows back in the Sharp Stand. Tried to get an upgrade before KO but no joy. When I got there there were at least 4 empty seats in the 3 rows around me.

It being Easter might have something to do with it. I bet Rhyl was busy today. Rhyl hasn't been busy for about 25 years 😋

JCL's. Zap them. Then set fire to them. Hose them down them zap them again If the family section is to stay there, put the camera position on the other side of the pitch We need younger fans As with evening games, holidays will affect family attendance

I'll do it.
Anyone who can't go to a game, I'll give you £10 for your ticket.
Anyone who needs a ticket, I'll sell you one for £20.
Rocket science it is not.

Can we please now, once and for all, shut the bloody family stand. Bloody sick of the bloody thing. Empty seats even in the big games, half empty again on 70 minutes. Disgusting and embarrasing. What is it with the adults in there? Do they say 'they you go son (daughter) daddies took you to see the football, mummy will be pleased with daddy tonight!! Oh and by the way, sorry for you missing stokes two worldy last goals' Bloody shut the family stand once and for all. The whole stadium's half empty on 70 minutes, not just the family stand, that's what's embarrassing.

I don't think its adults shang I think with the very cheap kids tickets people are buying them and not really caring if little johnie is bothered or not. the club must have the data on which cards are used and not used. failure to use the card for say 75% of games means you cannot have that s/t next season?

Well it looks like i should just cancel the family stand season ticket I'm waiting to have allocated to me then. I don't live in stoke and having a son means obviously we won't be able to go to all home games. Anyone with a kid will be able to tell some of you lot slagging us off that kids do have other activities that they do which mean every other Saturday or so simply can't be given up for a day wrecking (time wise) football match. You know, things like his football tournaments, friends birthdays, Easter, holidays etc. But if the consensus is that all kids should go into the boothen or other stand to sit next to some cunt continually calling our own players cunts, twats and wankers then please suggest that to Coates and co. I'm sure he'll oblige your request. I didn't want to buy a season ticket tbh, just wanted to be able to take him to at least a few games and strangely would like some to be against decent teams but hey, shit happens and tickets aren't available. My seats will be happily empty for close to half the games next season but that's my choice.

I take your point but there are many on here who have no intention of ever going to the britt yet they are first to moan because it shows up on the telly. you only have to look at the numerous "move the away fans threads" because that's what they see on the box.stokes home form is good imo so it just shows it doesn't make any difference where the away supporters sit not on the pitch anyway. and tbh I couldn't give a flying fuck what it looks like on telly as I prefer to see football live.

The family stand or section is the last one, there were hundreds of empty seats from the half way line, there was also plenty of empty seats in the Boothen,it's nothing to do with Easter ,it's more to do with the shit we have watched the last 12 months.

Which is why my idea of you instructing the club to sell your seats when you are not there, and rebating a portion of the proceeds to next season's season ticket is a win, win, win. You get a cheaper season ticket next year, the club gets a bit of revenue, and the stadium is full. It would be dead easy to administer and the fact that you are going to be rewarded makes it in your interest to assist the club in doing so.

True and something which I've seen other clubs do although not sure if for family seats Edit - I've seen some where you can sell tickets via club site but nothing on any rebates for next season

That was the lowest Saturday home crowd since promotion. Barely 25K in the ground. We were playing Hull, not Chelsea.

It's a we want more people to watch Stoke thread and if a game is classed as sold out there shouldn't hundreds/thousands of empty seats around the place. The biggest problem area for this seems to be the family stand.

Sportsman hates the family stand according to this thread. Not very sporting is it ?
Were you all at the Stadium ten years plus ago, because then you'd have found empty seats everywhere...........
