Beat hull and we could go 10th depending on other results, lose and we could go 16th. Big match but we'll get 3 points.

One from leftfield...
Grant Bardo Ryan BMI Pieters/Muni Cameron Afellay Shaq Imbula Arnie Saido

Grant
Bardsley Shawcross Martins Indi Muniesa
Cameron Afellay
Arnautovic Shaqiri Sobhi
Berahino
Subs: Butland, Pieters, Adam, Imbula, Walters, Crouch, Diouf.
Muniesa deserves his chance, Afellay surely must be brought in to add some composure in the middle, Ramadan must start again to add some more creativity, and Saido is getting sharper each passing game.
Of course, Les may see a "must win" game as the chance to drag out the old stagers to grind out a result, which would be hugely deflating.

Has to be this but you just know he won't have the courage. I'm comvinced hell start Adam and WALTERS.

Really hope we try shaq behind berahino to provide some through balls for once. In fact I'd make them practice through balls all week

People are whinging that the manager makes too many changes yet are calling for him to do just that on a weekly basis on these types of thread.

He won't drop Walters after his goal against Liverpool. My guess he'll start the same line up but will replace Allen by Adam, Whelan or Muniesa.

That's how it works and why he's paid the big bucks. No-one would be whinging if we were playing well and winning, but we're not.

Hate to be negative but I honestly think Hull will come here and beat us, less pressure on them and expecting our lads to be nervous

I work in Leeds, and we have a few Hull fans in the office. They are very optimistic and genuinely believe they will win on Saturday.
No doubt I will get a lot of stick next week if they do, come on Stoke, Do It For Me!

It is a sad condemnation of our present status that people are in two minds about Saturday's outcome when Stoke are playing at home against Hull who have been down in the relegation threatened clubs all year long. Were we not supposed to be moving forward from the departure of Pulis? It is a great shame that Allen is not available this Saturday because he Knicks the ball of the opposition so many times. If available my team would be:- Butland, Bardsley, Shawcross, Indi, Pieters, Cameron, Muniesa, Arnautovic, Shaqiri, Sobhi, Berahino. We need to be positive with our offensive play. I personally do not want to see any of the old guard starting matches any more so my subs would be Grant, Afellay, Edwards, Imbula, Bony, Whelan, Walters I am confident that we have the players to secure a good result as long as we play with belief and confident with plenty of commitment.

Hate to be negative but I honestly think Hull will come here and beat us, less pressure on them and expecting our lads to be nervous I think the same. Cameron mentioned this game is a must win (I think a must not lose) in today's Sentinel and Adam said on 5live in the week that we're under a bit of pressure. If Hull score first I think we're screwed

No Afellay, no Allen, Whelan was utter garbage when he came on against Liverpool.. nah, I still wouldn't bring your boots Imbula, Hughes will get 90 minutes out of Adam and watch him pass out before using you.

Gutter about Afellay, looked so strong coming back. Remember the stuff around having an initial run on adrenalin and then a danger of a 'relapse', as happened with Bojan. But this seems to be a different injury. Shame if that's the last we'll see of him.

I personally would like to see Grant Bardsley (if back because Johnson looks gash at the moment) Shawcross Indi Muniesa Cameron Whelan Imbula Arnoutivic Shaqiri Berahino We could possibly go Sobhi on the wing and Shaq central but I think Imbula has a ability to take the ball forward that none of our other players have. This three at the back is garbage. Wouldn't mind Affelay for either of Imbula or Whelan either. Bring in I Affelay goodbye wheelan Imbulla a must but Mark won't play him and we will lose him in the transfer window and won't get a return on him

Sounds like a straight choice of Adam or Whelan alongside Cameron with Afellay's absence? Unless....... Wait for it..... Surely not.......

Afellay is such a crock and we gave him a new contract, fucking laughable.
Anyway;
Grant
Bardo Shawcross BMI Ekker
Cameron Muni
Shaq Ramadan Arnie
Diouf
Hughes will go
Grant
Johnson Shawcross BMI Ekker
Shaq Whelan Cameron Arnie
Berahino Crouch

With no Allen and Afellay and avoiding Adam, Whelan, Johnson and Crouch like the plague, I'd go for it and select: Grant Shawcross Martins Indi Pieters Diouf Cameron Imbula Muniesa Shaqiri Arnautovic Ramadan Let the front three pretty much focus on attack and cause them problems across the line and switching positions, and have Geoff bark at Gilbert all game to maintain his defensive discipline. He can do it, like he did at Watford away.

Imbula must play, surely! Problem is he is not a holding mid though I would go Grant Bards Shawcross Indi Pieters Geoffrey Muni Sobhi Shaq Arnie The Diouf meister Berahino is light years ahead of Diouf if you are thinking of finding a striker. Diouf has a lot of heart but IMO it is his only asset. He has shown that he is technically poor and slow in thought. His passing is also very poor. Berahino is potentially the best striker we have had for a long time!
