Knew 2 hours before the game he was playing🤔Now surely if we're playing 3 centre halves you are practicing it the day before with players who KNOW they're playing

He and Bruno were at fault for the goal. Gouranga. Negative, Adam let his man waltz by him with not even an attempt to slow him into massive space to shoot. Barbeque. B)

Did he say "we have to show bollocks" near the end of that?!
And yeah, told he was in the team two hours before kick-off...with our limited centre back and wing back options you'd think if Hughes and Co knew we were playing 3-4-3 Muniesa would have known on Monday at the latest? Unless it was a late change of plan/personnel?

He say's "He dribbled past 3 players," The first player should of slowed him (Allen) then watch Charlie's imitation of a statue for the cross! You must be blinder than a bat! La Mancha

Wouldn't read too much in to it.

La Mancha 46 seconds in and he says he has to be tighter on Boyd. He wasn't at fault for the cross but he was for allowing Boyd to get the run on him. How much more of an admittance do you need? BTW I thought apart from this one lapse he had a decent game. Gouranga.

Hope he retains his place, however missed Ramadan tonight and can't see Hughes going with wing backs and playing Ramadan. Worried a further regression back to the old guard.
The "show bollocks" interview has provided a slight bit of cheer though

BTW I thought apart from this one lapse he had a decent game. Gouranga. Do you always see the rainbow before the rain? Mate it is clearly Charlie Adam's lack of any effort or attempt to slow his man to make a professional foul, he hadn't had a yellow yet I believe and that pirouette or oscar like acting to try to not do anything was terrible, even Allen before this should of slowed the build-up and it'd of never happened or gotten to the backline. Hell the impartial announcer even says, "Away from Charlie Adam" giving emphasis on the easily drifting past Adam by Mr. Hendrick. Remind me to never ask you movie advice, you'd probably bleat out the ending without any emphasis on the 1, 2nd or third acts leading to the dramatic finale. Oscaresque

That's a scarily good point. It really is starting to look like Hughes is overseeing a disorganised rabble. Sometimes manager's do that to gee a squad up and get them back on their toes. It worked to some degree. Wouldn't read too much in to it. If it was an isolated incident in an isolated defeat I could go with that mate. But there's chopping and changing every game, and to me, it's starting to look really random. It pisses me off because I've supported Hughes from the beginning, but it's starting to look like defending the indefensible. A good win on Saturday and I'll be in full-tilt, fickle football supporter, backing the manager mode. But it's getting harder for me to defend what seems to be happening. When the last manager left I celebrated hard. If Hughes goes I'll take not one jot of pleasure out of it. I really want him to succeed, but I'm rapidly losing faith in him having the nous, or the heart to make us a cohesive team again. Where the fuck did that team who took Man City apart disappear to?

The frustrating thing is that he was our best player on the pitch tonight, but is almost certain to leave in the summer.

He was excellent tonight as were all 3 centre halves Shawcross was all over the place plus he can't pass wind. Really ?...all I saw was their centre forwards not get a sniff all night apart from one chance You saying the goal was his fault then or is it because you don't really rate him anymore so see things that aren't happening to justify it ? He along with the other two was excellent ...the team was dire
