Yes John, but Huth could pass reasonably well with his left foot, as could Wollscheid. Which is whyI asked the question could Muni and Bruno function as a pair. I honestly don't know if one or both of them can pass with their right foot. It would work as long as muni's hamstrings held up, which they wouldn't sadly.

Not particularly no given his obvious physical limitations. I also think Muniesa is a far more intelligent and capable footballer than Erik and in that back 3, Muniesa's ability to stride out from the back and into midfield really stood out in his performance last night. He was really excellent. I think Muniesa is an excellent centre half, I'm sure he'd be an excellent wing back and as you know, I'm convinced he'd be a superb midfield player. He's a supremely talented footballer with so many really good attributes. Sadly he's never fit enough for long enough to prove it. However, if we are to play 3 at the back, Ryan has to be the central one of the 3 and that creates a problem because both Bruno and Muniesa are so left footed. Do you mean his hamstrings when you refer to physical limitations? You know how I feel about the Muni in midfield campaign....I think a good three at the back would be Cameron, Indi and Muni, but that might be a little controversial for most on here, given who we'd be leaving out. In terms of a balance of stronger foot players, physicality, mobility and technical ability, I would agree with you. Ryan seldom looks comfortable on the ball and this weakness is amplified in a back three. Muni is a defender by training and nature - we need to replace Whelan for sure, but not by shoe-horning him in there.
