Today should be an end to the Hughes out crap on here... For a while. Til the next loss They will find a reason to have a go at Sparky, be it picking wrong team, not buying any player who is available,or buying one they don`t rate they will find an agenda.

Today should be an end to the Hughes out crap on here... For a while. So, we beat Sunderland and Watford, two of the worst teams in the league and everything is ok. The second half today could have been disastrous against a better side. It will take a lot more to convince many that Hughes is the man to take us to this mythical next level!. What is the next level? We beat the bottom teams lose to the top 6 draw against those around us. We're an established top 10 Prem side. I can name two teams above us who we're arguably as good if not better than. I can list 20 plus below us who are bigger clubs than Stoke who'd give everything to be at our level. Sunderland are one of those teams.

Aswell as less of the Hughes out stuff could we also possibly have a bit of proper appreciation of what the likes of Crouch, Adam and Whelan bring to the club???? Might be asking too much! Adam put in a display that sums him up and why he shouldn't really be playing regularly. One moment of excellence surrounded by lots of losing the ball, looking tired and poor tackling. The other two were excellent throughout though.

Unfortunately some people have already embarrassed themselves to the extent that they won't want to lose face. Every time we lose they'll be back, whining and bleating because we're not top of the league by 12 points. And that, as much as anything on the pitch, is why the club has almost been dragged into a state of crisis over the last few weeks. The knicker wetting from some of our fans at a time when the team has needed our support has been fucking embarrassing.

Great win but lets be honest we played for half an hour and let a poor team dominate the match from that point. Yes lets be happy, yes lets give Hughes some credit, lets give Crouch some credit but lets not get carried away we still haven't played well in both halves of a game since god knows when The day that winning any Premier League game becomes a formality for SCFC will probably never dawn. You might need to accept that to a degree. Perfect (or even totally dominant) performances are going to be few and far between.

Because we beat Sunderland? Oh dear. What a sad day for some stoke fans tonight. Not really. I'm as happy as anyone when stoke get 3 points. But does that mean we forget the last 12 months? Not for me but let's hope we can make it 2 in 2 by beating them bastards next week. Come on stoke!

"Fans like me" explain yourself, I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean... The win is great today and what we deserved, however I am not suddenly going to start saying that he is the best manager in the premier league. If we can play like that more often then great, lets see what happens, I would like him to stay if he sorts out the obvious deficiencies in the team at the moment. Because you've put a negative spin on the result. We've one 3-1 away from home, against anybody that's good for us. We've hardly ever got a result there. I'm not saying he's the best manager either, but just enjoy the win rather than just saying 'it's sunderland' No negative spin and I havent said anything other than great win. I am just not going to get carried away. Im fair, when we / the manager deserves praise I will give it and when we dont I will say. Great win today, Crouch was good Arnie his best self!

Why? Excellent for 30 minutes. Dodgy for the rest and an awful goal to concede. It changes nowt. Let's just be happy for the 3 points. Some fans will put their heads back in the sand mate. He's got a lot of work to do. Great 3 points today though. It'll be nice to enjoy Match of the Day for a change!!!

Played well today but lets not get overly confident eh? Sunderland will probably go down. We have a massive test against Man utd next week. Why cant Hughes get them to play like that every game? Just because we beat a shockingly bad Sunderland team doesn't paper over the cracks of the shit weve had to watch for the last 18 months. So fuck off to the people that are now saying everything will be alright. Hughes out in the summer. Thats my stance

Maybe maybe no but his bit of the 'balance' is the potential to play that killer pass through to Arnie or the pin-point cross to Crouch and if we can cover his weaknesses he's worth the slot in my book.

Not worried for this season, but as lots of the old guard are not getting any younger, getting slightly worried for next couple of seasons.
