They've backed themselves so far into a corner now that the bullshit will resurface after every loss.

We need that stability and stick together as one fuck the rest, Hughes ain't daft.
Yes we beat Sunderland people will say but away we never do and done the double over them, we have to beat those around us and we are but people will still moan. We could of lost today but beat Man Utd next week and Everybody would be happier and not give him stick because we beat a top 6 team? Come on eh let's get back in the real world.
Well done Hughes Well done stoke city players

Because we beat Sunderland? Oh, sorry - I forgot that only points against the top 6 counted. Excellent three points today at a known bogey ground.

Today should be an end to the Hughes out crap on here... For a while. So, we beat Sunderland and Watford, two of the worst teams in the league and everything is ok. The second half today could have been disastrous against a better side. It will take a lot more to convince many that Hughes is the man to take us to this mythical next level!.

The win is great today and what we deserved, however I am not suddenly going to start saying that he is the best manager in the premier league. If we can play like that more often then great, lets see what happens, I would like him to stay if he sorts out the obvious deficiencies in the team at the moment.

We have taken 26 points from our last 16 games since we dropped Given, I doubt we have had many better runs than that in the last 9 seasons. Not sure what more he can do

The big players turned up today and the manager needs to get this out of them week in week out.If it takes a meeting every week with the players to get the best out of them then lets do it๐

Aswell as less of the Hughes out stuff could we also possibly have a bit of proper appreciation of what the likes of Crouch, Adam and Whelan bring to the club???? Might be asking too much!

Because you've put a negative spin on the result. We've one 3-1 away from home, against anybody that's good for us. We've hardly ever got a result there. I'm not saying he's the best manager either, but just enjoy the win rather than just saying 'it's sunderland'

Unfortunately some people have already embarrassed themselves to the extent that they won't want to lose face. Every time we lose they'll be back, whining and bleating because we're not top of the league by 12 points.

Great win but lets be honest we played for half an hour and let a poor team dominate the match from that point. Yes lets be happy, yes lets give Hughes some credit, lets give Crouch some credit but lets not get carried away we still haven't played well in both halves of a game since god knows when

Why?
Excellent for 30 minutes.
Dodgy for the rest and an awful goal to concede.
It changes nowt.
Let's just be happy for the 3 points.
