The answer is that Stoke fans (on this MB) NEED to hate. It simply has to be someone. Imbula just happens to be the current incumbent of that position. Proper little drama queen thayt at. Imbula has largely been dogshit since he's been here and he cost a massive 18 million Great British pounds so people are bound to have a negative opinion of him. Stoke fans are no different than any other fans in this country in that respect. Not Imbula's fault that he cost £18m - doubt he had much to do with setting the fee. You may think he has been poor but you would have thought the same had he cost £5m or whatever.

Would a record bid from Celtic be worth having? As in what is their current record fee in rough figures. RI understand that for whatever figure we receive there is a sell on clause that requires we give a certain amount back to Barcelona. Celtics record buys are Chris Sutton and John hartson at £6 mil so it's not gonna be an offer worth considering if we have to give barca 50%

Imbula sounds a lot like our Adama traore, can do amazing things one minute and look like he hasn't got a clue the next minute. Also has the potential to be a huge talent. As for bojan if any of you took any notice of Ramirez back in August would you say bojan is a better player than him, as that looks like who he'd be replacing. We were reportedly close to signing Traore before he went to Villa. He was linked for a long time so most of us have watched our fair share of YouTube clips from his Barca youth team days. Can you see him fulfilling his potential? He is literally the definition of 'raw' at the minute, he has no positional awareness at all, no idea when or where to make runs to make himself available for the ball and his final product is very hit or miss. That said he came on for us against Spurs for his debut, got on the ball with his first touch and pretty much ran through their whole team in about 5 seconds. His control of the ball at that speed is incredible and his strength for a small pacey flair player is even better, just shrugs players off the ball and can get past 2 or 3 defenders in about 2 touches. He's only 20 so a lot of time to develop and everytime he plays you notice slight improvements. At the very least he will make a top 10 premiership player, at his best he's already better than players like zaha and sterling when it comes to pure ability on the ball, he just needs angle grinding never mind polishing. I can't see him being with us much longer if I'm honest, another season at the most.

When he plays #10 does he get right up alongside the striker or play deeper towards the midfield? I imagine him playing almost as a second striker. Are the fans happy with Karanka after his comments at the weekend? A lot of the fans weren't happy before the comments haha, the guy really doesn't help himself sometimes.

Are sell on clauses only applicable if we make a profit, and as others have said, a Celtic record bid is probably not gonna be gazillions...prob 7 or 8 mill at best..

Bojan could nutmeg a mermaid and therefore is worth at least £20m. Furthermore, a large number of household pets in the Stoke-on-Trent area have been named "Bojan" and for him to leave would cause a great deal of unrest in the locality.

Wages surely would rule Celtic out. How many if any of the Celtic team are on over £40k a week, never mind the £65k Bojan is on at Stoke

Likewise, Orta is also working on Bojan. HITC Sport understands that he has told Boro and Stoke that he only wants to move on loan initially, due to Middlesbrough's current Premier League status, which sees them sitting just above the relegation zone.
Stoke would ideally like a permanent deal, but Boro are hoping they will sanction a loan with a view to that - which Bojan would be happy with.

One can only assume that Sparky, despite signing a new long term deal just believes Bojan is not the same player before his injury How very sad as the man was magic for a while until he got the injury even though it took him a while to get up to speed Sparky stayed loyal but I guess he thinks there is just something missing day in day out in training

Here's to the new Stoke partnership ..... BS! Oh wait ... how about KB? hmmmm.... if we take all 4 into account .......SKAB! Song needed .... SKAB, SKAB, in the net you stab the ball! The Ball! SKAB, SKAB, Spurs their eyes will dab when you score! Score! Hey, what more could you ask of me, the Picasso of music? how do you get SKAB out of BS KB and what the heck are you on about All 4 of our forwards .... Shaqiri, Krcic, Arnautovic, Berahino. Then you cleverly take the first initial from their name, shuffle them around and Hey presto ... BAKS!

If he did nutmeg a mermaid, I guarantee that he would fail to run around the mermaid to pick up the ball the other side and would probably be muscledout of the way prompting him to fall over like a little schoolboy in the process.

They call us a tin-pot club on a regular basis on their forums plus owned by a Irish American not British......The tough working class statement is just something we have in common with Boro..Just rather see Blunderland go down..
