£2.50 and a Kit Kat.
I'd want 15m+ too.
But we shall see. I think that's wishful thinking but because it's us not for any actual proper reason.

Get him gone, too many other options for the role he plays. Use the money to help with the rebalancing.

The way SLP have phrased it, it may be bigger than we'd think?
I keep going back and forth over what he could fetch. I think we'd really struggle to get much of a fee from Spain - but all it takes is one potential buyer form the cash-rich Prem and that could definitely bring something around £10m into play.
It'll be interesting to see

It almost implies a shift to a DM and two box to box mids instead. As for a replacement...I'm not hopeful of one.

I could actually 'do' a loan - if only because MLH won't give him the run he needs to get 'it' back or for us all to discover if he really will never be the same again post injury.
Other than that, it definitely drops into the manager's "massive calls" in-tray.

We were interested in Friend(LB) a few seasons ago? British and in a position we need to re-inforce? Also, Ramires would be useful?

Bearing in mind Boro have just got £2.5m for Nugent and are asking £9m for Rhodes. If Jordan Rhodes is worth £9M Bojan ought to be at least £20M but I'd let him go for as much as we can get I don't see him ever becoming a regular starter.

You would think Bojan would want to leave for Spain. If you can get a Spanish club to match it then I would sell

Anything less than £15m would be disappointing.
He's got a long contract and the fact that Boro are a Premier League team (and rival) should add a few million to his price.

Anything below £15 million should refused straight away and tell them to come back with a serious offer.A big test for the ever floundering transfer team

Shame how its gone with the lad really and I fear it could come back to bite us on the arse if we sell to Boro

Fucking sizeable?
On the basis that:
They are competition for us re staying away from relegation. Bojan is a class act. The money in the Prem makes Benteke worth £30m and Savo, a disgraced centre half who has no future at the bin dippers, worth £20m. The utter anger and disappointment from some quarters of the fan base that this will generate.
If the figure is not north of £20 million we should be telling them to fuck off.
My gut tells me SCFC would see anything more than £5m as "sizeable"....after all it's 66.6% more than they're holding out for for Muni!!!!

I suspect it will be some way short of £10m. If we sell him for less than that mate it's a fucking disgrace I absolutely agree mate but you know what we're like. Plus 'sizeable' screams average. Not 'massive' or 'derisory' but just 'sizeable'. I'd be amazed if it was over £10m and I'd be amazed if we don't accept it.

Prime Age Long term contract Not ridiculous wages All round good egg
Anything below 10m and questions need to be asked. Ideally should be looking at 12m+

Anything less than £15m would be disappointing. He's got a long contract and the fact that Boro are a Premier League team (and rival) should add a few million to his price. I'll be genuinely intrigued to see what the figure is (if the story's true) I get all the arguments about the Premier League's odd, uniquely overheated micro economy with the stream of nonentities going for a standard £10m and 4 more years of contract that should ensure £10m+ - but this is a player we bought for peanuts and has been out of it for a year. Betis, the Spanish version of us, can't even afford £3m, so if we weren't able to find an English buyer, we never would have got anything approaching £10m. But the fact we apparently have got one interested, especially with a Spanish manager who remembers the fresh-faced Barca version of Bojan, could mean we do get something big

What id we pay for him, £500k or £2m ? I would think if we recoup the buying fee plus the wages, then double it, we would sell him, a shame really but he just hasn't looked like he did pre injury

I guess because you make it clear to all parties on the purpose of the loan - i.e. you structure a deal that is clearly designed with that (getting him back to fitness / form, getting his wages shifted out & hopefully shafting some of those other clubs around us on the way through with his performances) in mind.
Puts the ball back in Boro's court as it obviously sounds like a straight up and down "bid" (to buy I assume) atm.
