If he was to leave, would rather he goes there rather than another team we have to play

So their ITK seems to think we would sell to a non English club for £8m.

Bojan is a great player, but he is a luxury. He would be amazing in a top 6 team where he does not have to track back and help a team like us dig out a result. We can probably accommodate Shaq but not both of them.

I'll bet that 'ITK' hasn't a clue who Bojans agent is and just thinks it's a random and therefore getting the quote wouldn't be questioned. Then again, maybe he just belled Puyol and had a chat or even knocked on his house?

We can probably accommodate Shaq but not both of them. If you watched Saturday's game youll realise that we are definitely not 'accommodating' Shaq. What Bojan needs is two behind who can work a bit (i.e. not Imbula and Afellay as when he was hung out to dry vs wolves)

I wouldn't be opposed to loaning him to Celtic for the rest of the season. He would bag a load of goals and regain confidence. If he can't score/make an impact in that poverty league then there's no point keeping him.

Scholes:
"Bojan's a quality player and a player we'd love to have at the club"
"But ,like many players, he does want to be playing every week and Mark can't necessarily give him that at the moment"
"These things happen. We'll see, we'll see. At the end of the day, if he does move out, it'll be for a fee that's consistent with his value"

It's a fair statement from TS though. Sadly I've become quite apathetic about the Bojan situation now. It's become quite the drama. If someone comes in that fits the project better, so be it.

Bojan may well want to play every week but can he say in all honesty that his performances merit a regular place in the side.
If he does move, he will play well for several games and then the same problem will appear -- again! Bojan's state of mind needs working on.
Steve Peters, a sports psychologist/psychiatrist, worked at Liverpool and helped Gerrard get his career back on track after injury. Maybe a few sessions with him would work wonders for Bojan.

Presumably he'd much prefer a move back to Spain - especially if it's a big club like Valencia. Their local press were really going big on the link before Christmas.

If he has to go, please let it be back to Spain.
Seeing him line up against us in the Premiership will have me wailing like a wounded Banshee.

It begs a general question - if a player has a lapse of form (say 2, 3 or 4 games?), do you replace him or do you persevere, hoping that the 'form is temporary, class is permanent' theory proves itself? If you 'bomb' every player every time they have a few poor games, then, over the season, you will rarely have a settled side as a number of players will go through such a phase.

I agree with Dallas. I've met Bojan and he is a really nice guy. I've become a bit of a Bojan watcher - looking at his demeanour and body language. Its not been good for awhile now . Warming down as he does do after matches - whether hes played or not - he is wrapped in his own thoughts . He will always sign autographs but on Saturday was very reluctant to do so and when he did sign it was just Bo - and not his full signature. He made bo eye contact with anyone and if ever a guy was painting a picture of 'i dont wish to be here' - it was him. I feel desperately sad for him - even though hes a multi millionaire - as he just wants to play football. But as so many on this board have said he doesnt grasp his opportunity when presented. Then his mistakes - at Palace and Chelsea - have seen him in a bad light. He is such a gifted player - a special talent. We should not let him go. I agree with Dallas 100% - he needs a sports psychologist to get him back to his best.

It would be nice to keep both Bojan and Muniesa, but if he has to it would be nice to keep at least one of them and actually play them. Two options maybe how he could play them? When everyone is back? Butland
Johnson - Shawcross - Martins Indi - Pieters
Whelan - Allen
Shaqiri Bojan Arnautovic
Berahino ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mark Hughes was such a massive fan of Bojan that he gave him a 5 year contract even after he came back from that terrible injury. If Hughes is willing to get rid then I trust his judgement and it tells me that he's lost faith in Bojan and whatever he had that warranted a 5 year contract just isn't there anymore.

Jesus are we going to have 10 days of berating/bemoaning/belittling/b jing the bloke?
I love him to bits, hope he stays and finds form again but if not wish him well and thank him for some genuine excitement and great memories.
Its been debated to death folks!

Or it's actually pretty much the same but since then he's signed Imbula and Allen and he is probably a bit overstocked in that area now.
I don't think Bojan has done much particularly wrong to be honest.
Hughes probably thought that Imbula would give him the platform (as a like for like replacement for N'Zonzi) so that he would be able to play a proper number 10 but it has become patently obvious that that isn't going to happen and Hughes knows that it's now difficult to play an out and out number 10 in his starting XI at the moment.
Bojan wants to play but other things have happened since he signed his deal that might mean that's going to be difficult to accommodate him.

I still maintain that he is going nowhere (until the summer).
And where exactly are Celtic going to pull £12 - 15 million from?
