Local lad mark frost playing Anderson first round on Thursday I think, then another local youngster playing in the youth world final on Saturday

I went to the Ally Pally in 2011 where Ade Lewis won his first World Title and even though he won the year after both Ade & Phil haven't look even close to winning the world championship since. MVG on form is unplayable and Gary Anderson is just a touch behind so for me Van Gerwen for the championship.

Betfred is offering Stoke-on-Trent v The Field. 6/1 Stoke v 1/12 The Field.
I like the No.1 seed Stephen Bunting, always nice to watch, but barring a disaster can't see past Van or Anderson for the title.

Hard to see past MVG.
He is by some distance the best player in the world and has been for some time - and he knows it. And in that lies his biggest problem - the fact he has won the big one just once in 2014 eats at him. The only player that can beat MVG is MVG.
If he can handle the self inflicted pressure, he will win.

Mvg seems unstoppable at the moment, i hope Lewis can regain his form of a few years ago at a consistent level

Couldn't believe Bunting was knocked out by Webster. It was a great match and went to 2 sets and 2 legs all.
Great match between Price and Clayton. Can't remember which of them threw a 180 in 2.16 seconds.
I have to say Gerwen is not just a darts machine, but a darts robot. Not only is he unplayable, he's almost unwatchable!

That Michael Smith looks like a fat version of Sam Smith the singer bloke.

Was that a streaker who ran across the stage last night.? There was a bit of a commotion and then the cameras went tot he back of the hall and you couldn't see anything on the stage itself.

Two against the field for me, Jelle Klaasen & Alan Norris.
Klaasen is in Anderson's quarter so it'll obviously be tough, but he owes him for last year & if he's on song he can beat anyone. Norris is in what looks at first glance the 'quarter of death' with Taylor, Lewis & Raymond all in there, but none of those three are the players they were of a couple of years ago, Norris is a man in form & I fancy him to surprise a few people.
Backed 'em both at big prices anyroad, so hopefully at least one of them gives me a run for my money.

So, Jackpots out, Barneys through.... have to say though that Anderson looked strong tonight. Didn't see Anderson tonight or Barney v Lewis but thought RVB looked brilliant in his demolition of Norris t'other night, really had that lovely languid rhythm of his going.Wright looked good too, could be some real tear-ups in the later stages.

The first 3 sets, Anderson had a 100% checkout rate. One arrow every time and BANG! His average was kicking around 120, which would have been a record for a WF. Van de Pas didn't play poorly at all - his average was kicking around 110, but Anderson was on fire. Took his foot off the gas a little but was still too strong for the young Dutch kid.

Anderson, when he's really, really flying is a joy to watch, one of the best sights in darts,I love his combative brilliance,I think his and MVG'S styles suit each other and make for great matches between the two.

Is it on all the teles at home and in the bars? Everything's shown live on terrestrial tv , RTL 7. Just finished the afternoon session, quick pizza, few beers then in front of the box for 20.00 Hundreds of bars and clubs are showing it.
