Said this before and I'll say it again
Stoke win - beat a League 1 side. So what. Bragging rights? Over a crap little side?
Vale win - wouldn't hear the last of it. Would ruin our season and most of us would struggle to show our faces for the first few days after it.
Vale would raise their game against us, and we've had a few issues against lower league sides last 10 years.

Every year I'm aghast some Stokies would want to play them. No good can come from it for us.
Although it's a 63/1 chance so I won't lose sleep over it. ☺

The draw for the FA Cup next round is tonight (Monday) at 7.00 pm on BBC 2.
In recent years it has seemed to me that the competition has lost some of its former prestige, but thanks to the BBC coverage over the last few years it is coming back to the revered institution that it once was.
Premier leauge so called superstars putting out reserve teams and one ceartain club not even entering one year have not helped.
I hope Stoke get a good away draw to a lower leauge club so that we can have a good day out, and the competition returns to its former high valued status involving all levels of football.
Port Vale !!?

There's nothing good from playing Vale. They're a poor poor team with very little chance of beating us..... however, say we drop a few big names and they throw in a worldy of a performance in their big cup final, sneak a 1-0..... we'll never live it over.
Comfortable home time will do please.
