Fairly dull draw, but then 3rd round usually is, 5 all Prem ties and one or two tricky ties should see maybe 7 or 8 Prem casualties going out...

Hopefully, but it doesn't look like any of the big teams are in danger of going out. We could have done with them being drawn against each other to thin them out a little. Still we can hope they do meet in 4th round and that we get another easyish home draw.

My 90 year old dad has decided that we're going to walk all over Wolves. Good enough for me. We're at home though..

Man U v Reading...Man U win. Millwal v Bournmouth...Bnmth Win Chelsea v Ptbro or Notts...Chelsea West Brom v Derby...Derby...After a replay Liverpool v Plymouth/Newport...Liverpool win Watford v Burton...Burton win after replay Norwich v Southampton...Norwich win Boro v Wednesday...Weds win after replay Preston v Arsenal...Arsenal win Stoke v Wolves...Stoke win ( But not a foregone conclusion by any means) Spurs v Villa...Spurs win. Bolton v Palace...Palace win. So I reckon 4 from all prem out, plus 4 against lower opps....

Decent draw for us, highly-winnable, at home against local rivals. Should be a decent atmosphere and crowd and (touch-wood) safe passage to round 4.
Vale's draw might be the nut worst they could've had when you take into consideration the glamour, commercial opportunities and winnability all combined. They've had some rotten luck in cup draws in recent times. Saying that there was only a 5%ish chance they were going to see the piss-hovel packed out for the first time in decades.

I just hope nobody in the media refer to it as the "Staffordshire derby". It's a long time since Wolverhampton was part of Staffordshire, with only old farts like me having any memory of it. They suit the shithole called West Midlands a lot better. It's already the "Staffordshire derby " on our official website. We've only beaten them once in the cup and that was in 2011!

It would be a strong team. If Sobhi is in Africa, Verlinden should be starting. why are you demanding mh should play someone who has no 1st team experience? and why would you drop one of our better players? So if you think he shouldn't be playing as he doesn't have first team experience, how exactly should he gain experience? If he's not going to play in a cup game where we have 3 first team forward players away, when will he? He's one of the best young wingers in Europe (according to one of the academy coaches).

The dirty dingles. Cracking draw against a side I absolutely hate and I hope we fucking slaughter them. Lived in that shit hole for three years while at Uni, and had the misfortune of having to look at that abortion of a stadium every morning from my bedroom window. A hole of a town full of horrible fuckers. Couldn't have said it better. Wolverhampton is a fucking pit of scum. Hope we smash the horrible fuckers.

As said earlier if SCFC price it properly, give Wolves a good allocation, we could get a good crowd and atmosphere.
Put out a strong side and away we go.

Just one more thing, the use of the word abortion in the context of a football discussion has no place. Others on this message board have used 'rape' in a similarly inappropriate manner. Stoke born mate but lived out that way for a long time. Still say one of my best away days ever was a 10 minute walk. The 4-1 in 94 ish. 3000 stokies. Never forget it. Bragging rights.

Don't they gat the whole South Stand for FA Cup games, in which case with South Stand Stokies having to sit else where should be close to a full house, maybe with a few Yam Yams in amongst the home support...

You are correct in your observation that I didn't study English, but in the context of a discussion on a football forum, I truly couldn't give a flying fuck about your opinions on the grammatical validity of my post. It's a post on the Oatcake, not an op-ed in the fucking Guardian. You're welcome to your opinion on my use of the word "abortion" and I'll agree to disagree with you. It's my humble opinion that "abortion" is an appropriately descriptive word when talking about Wolverhampton and the majority of it's inhabitants. I could apologize for any offence caused by my crass language, but I really wouldn't mean it so why bother?

I grew up watching star soccer and it was always Wolves being shown, and to make things worse I went to secondary school in Rugeley that was predominantly Wolves supporters, in fact I think there were only a handful of Stoke supporters, so I am really looking forward to us giving the dongles a good hammering and making this oldun happy, up the potters......

Same here, my lap top is an American keyboard, and American spelling, can't seem to alter the settings, it always says I spell COLOUR wrong and tries to change it to COLOR and puts Z's where we'd us S's...Oh and no pound sign either....
