He is so undertated by us its unfair, but today he showed something new and thats flair and that happened as what has be goal of the month contender, there was no bit of luck behind it, Walters always thinks whats best for the team, and he knew there was no one pass to so he made the only choice......Regardless of the starting eleven no matter what we think, we need be behind the team, and show why they fear us as a unit at home.

Never in a million years did he mean that. Total fluke You're confusing threads again. We're discussing SJW not Muni. And that's very harsh on Muni. It was a super finish from jon boy

I do support the team, I even let go a few goarrrn Jon's, in between having my head in my hands after seeing him mis-control yet another ball.

"Striker Scores Goal" - not really a need to start a thread or apologise.
Super Jon gets knocked down or takes a few lumps every week on the pitch, he'd be the last person to go demanding an apology. He just dusts himself down and gets on with it

Walters attitude is faultless and the effort he put in is unquestionable and that was an excellent goal he scored today. I do however think we need a better technical striker and one who scores more. Agree with every word.

Nowt to apologise for. I've always rated him as a very good player. A team player that isn't afraid to defend when needed and our highest scorer for several seasons after Fuller left. His performance in the FA Cup Semi was superb. Love the bloke and a great "servant" to our club.( That is If you can call employees on £3m+ a year a servant.).

Nope, he had a very good game. Oh my god! Tell me the one good scene from Jon in the game, apart from the goal?? Please, only one?? The goal was great - and the rest of the game he was either invisible or couldn´t handle a ball. In the second half i could hardly see, that he is still on the pitch. Respect to Jon for the goal - it looked great ...but please stop writing of good performances by a player who doesn´t take part 98 % of a game. I like Jon, he is a sympathic guy who has done a lot for the club - he has my respect - but he is definitely the most limited player of Stoke City, that´s a fact.

I'll be forever grateful for what he's done for us over the years but we have to strengthen and replace players like SJW. He's a weak link nowadays.

Come on, some people owe Walters an apology today. There were people slagging him off actually at the exact moment he scored. Even I have been critical sometimes, (though not recently) but he is due an apology today from some. So let's hear it please! My simple rule is quick to praise slow to criticise and find this works in most things life through at you.

The more criticism he gets the better he is likely to play, therefore he won't get an apology from me. Just so pleased Hughes has had the balls to drop Bony, drop Imbula for a long time and get the rewards for it. The group are being managed very well as far as I can see.

I honestly do think we held it up well at all. The good play came from interchange that started deeper and didn't need that hold up play. When we did need it (the second half) it was again non-existent.

Great performance and my MOTM. He won oodles of flick-ons, put meaningful pressure on their back line and his tracking back when moved out wide was immense but none of that is much of surprise.
The main thing I took from it was how much better he played than Bony has done up top. Bony has been holding the team back in my opinion and it's not all about whether SJW is the answer we have Crouch who's looked a threat when he's been involved this season.
Bony will no doubt get a chance over Christmas but let's hope it's a different player than the one we've seen so far.

Where exactly? - can´t remember one scene, really So you think Bony should return? If we discuss the point, who can maintain, handle a ball better and keep it in team, of course Bony can do that better - 100 %
