Maybe on loan no resalevalue and ACON in januari, already we have Sobhi and Diouf going. Stoke and WBA has the highest average age in PL no surprise there.

Berahino & Bony would be really something. I'd love to see that, but it would never work.

Is the China move totally confirmed? Would love to get Bony he really is the missing peice in the puzzle www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/08/22/west-ham-united-want-wilfried-bony-on-loan-as-injury-crisis-cont/Telegraph Sport understands that a deal has already been struck for Bony to leave City and move to the cash-rich Chinese Super League next January on a highly-lucrative permanent transfer which will bring to an end his frustrating spell at the club
Who knows? But it seems to get a mention in most recent Bony stories.

Signing Bony on loan until January would only postpone the search for the new striker, but right now, I'd take it. He would fit the bill and give our scouts time time to actually do their bloody job properly rather than us sitting out the whole summer waiting for bloody Pulis to deign to sell a striker he doesn't intend to use to us.
January deal for Cyle Laurin?

Is the China move totally confirmed? Would love to get Bony he really is the missing peice in the puzzle Im not sure that it actually is mate. If it was such a certainty, you would have thought, at the very least, we'd know who the club was who is who's supposed to be buying him. As far as I'm aware, that hasn't been announced.

I'd love us to go 4411 with Berahino buzzing around playing off Bony. I just don't see it. I think well only bring 1 striker and 1 CB in.

Much better option than Berahino IMHO. I really hope the Baggies continue to mess us about and we're virtually forced into moving for Bony as a last resort. 100% that he won't be named in the Citeh squad on Thursday, lives in Alderley Edge, you could see it being announced at 10pm on Wednesday couldn't you? This is the signing I want more than any other!

How is signing a(nother) large and fairly immobile striker going to help a team that's set up to play counter attacking football and doesn't create any chances?

How is signing a(nother) large and fairly immobile striker going to help a team that's set up to play counter attacking football and doesn't create any chances? He has the ability to hold the ball up and play with his back to goal, that's exactly what we need to do. All that happens now is our creative players piss about with the ball 50 yards from goal, finally play it forward and then it comes straight back as we haven't got anyone who can protect the ball. His arrival could mean us playing higher up the pitch which in turn should see us creating more chances in the box. That's how I see it anyway.

You could have a Messi/ Usain Bolt type up front and we still would struggle to score given how we are set up. (This isn't me being negative as I believe we aren't that far off being a good side with the right couple of players).

I think we need more pace if anything. Bony isn't immobile. We need somebody who is strong, good in the air and can hold the ball up and bring others into play and is an excellent finisher. We definitely need some pace but to have all the things above AND real pace, then you'd be moving into Lukaku territory. I really wouldn't mind a pacey right winger though.

I'm not convinced that Bony's is great either. Don't think he's the solution personally. Totally agree with you about setup. Summat needs tweaking at the very least.

He's hardly a speed freak is he? All the qualities you highlight us needing are already present in Crouch and Joselu, Paul. Of COURSE Bony is an upgrade on them but is he THAT much better that his presence will reverse our dearth of chances? I'm not convinced, sorry.

The solution to our goals problem is really very simple - Lock Hughes away with video from all our scouts. Let him find the player that most reminds MH of himself in his prime. Buy that player. Set up the team as he would have wanted it set up as a player. Hey Presto! Let the goals flow. And that my friends, is why we are not Football Managers drawing million pound salaries!

I don't think Crouch or Joselu are that good at holding the ball up and bringing others into the game. Bony is much more physical and more mobile than both of them.

This story in the Mail doesn't mention China in January. Who knows what to believe? MailCity will continue to trim their squad over the next 24 hours as Stoke City and West Ham discuss a potential loan for Wilfried Bony while Sevilla have expressed late interest in taking Samir Nasri on loan. The France international had been poised to travel to Besiktas. Bony will cost a £2m loan fee but City want his £120,000 a week wages paid in full.
