I know it's only a friendly, be he looked electric in that game. Direct and fearless, took on his man everytime and looked to have good quality aswell as raw pace and strength. Exciting to see what part he will play in the coming months and years.

Bloody good player. Would have liked to have seen him last year for the reasons you stated.

N'Goy & Lecygne to get into the 1st team this season then?

N'Goy & Lecygne to get into the 1st team this season then? From what I've seen (little.), Lecygne looks very tidy, but don't think he'll be pushing any first teamers out the way. N'goy however, based on today, looked strong quick but had good feet and technical ability also. Who knows, he may be our Rashford for the upcoming season, he has a fearlessness and is very direct, similar to Rashford.

Looks like he'd be pretty useful coming off the bench against tired defences, exactly the type of player we were lacking last season.

Very highly rated within the Belgium youth set up as well and we know how many good players they're producing at the moment.

N goy looked good and swapped wings with Diouf. As said he was quick not lighting although out wide. He had one run through the middle and but for a great save would have got the goal he deserved
A good squad player whom will benefit from playing against better opposition. I was sat in the PNE end and they tried several times to drag him back.
Leceygne also looked tidy play and one strong challenge.

I agree with the original post. Luke45 and I were impressed with N'Goy from the first few minutes he was on the pitch. He looks strong, mobile and is clearly willing to take his man on. You have to be wary of going overboard about youngsters but he is one who, in this game, lived up to his reputation. To be fair none of the youngsters looked out of place today. They all looked comfortable on the ball and showed decent skill. Maybe the standard of the Academy players is better than we had been told Maybe bayernoatcake is right - there's a spooky thought!

The managers can not win, people say try some of the younger players we lose a couple of games they then get slagged of for playing young players. We as supporters need to be a little more forgiving ,this board went into meltdown when we lost to Burton with young players. Its a results business so unless the manager is forced to play these players due to injuries then they will always play the solid pro.The end of last season when we weren't performing and were safe was the ideal time to give a couple of these lads a run.No he didn't he would rather of played people out of position. You need a manager will balls to try young players ,MH is more of a safe manager.

And say what toy will about bayern's opinions, he is great on information about the u21s.

Telford also has the advantage of his record for the under 21s. We have Abdallah too who looks a talent. We have some good players, they just need opportunities wether it's here or on loan.

It depends on a lot of things. 1) who we sign 2) does the manager agree with us? 3) do a championship club want him? I'd love to see him being given a chance in the cups.

Didn't look out of place at all when he came on.
I said on Twitter after the game he has two facets you can't teach namely pace and strength.
Looked a prospect on the strength of today's showing.
