We actually looked like we wanted to win in the second half, in the first just going through the motions. MH makes to many changes to the team for them to get any fluency, we need to decide what our best team is and stick to it.

Our biggest weakness this season has been set pieces. With a n average scoring record at corners and free kicks we would have 10 more goals. It makes such a difference as today shows

Didn't think that but I did think, 'oh ferfuxsake he's going to score against us' Then I thought, why can we never score winners in the last few minutes and lo and behold

And that, in a nutshell, ladies and gentlemen is what following Stoke is all about. The frustration, the hope, the passion and ultimately the sweetness of the final victory.
The captain came out 2nd half and led the team. The fans reciprocated and played their role to drive the players on to a result..
The fans are the soul of this club. Chance who owns it or who turns out to play on a Satdee, we have an active role to play. We aren't just picking Pop Idol over X Factor or some such. The club was here before us all and will be here long after we are all gone. It's up to us all to do our bit to leave it in a better state than we found it.
The "I'll only clap if I'm entertained" and "I've paid me money so I'll do as I please" lot and, more specifically, the tools who booed the lads off at HT today need to have a long hard look at themselves and have some respect for their forebears who SUPPORTED the club in times past. We are where we are because of them.
If the lads wear the red and white, you support them on the day. Simple.
Anyway, turn out for Wilko tomorrow night, if you can, and have a great summer. We are Stoke and we are on the up.

PS. I've moaned in the past about Block 19's unnecessary clapping and rushing through the songs. Today, though, was a good showing I thought. Fair play to you all. :-)

All this bollocks of us having no fight can be put to bed now! 9th! Top half finish, so all you big girls can dry your panties ready for next season. Imo.. There is nothing wrong with a 9th place finish. Nor is there any reason why fans should say they are not happy with the manner of the defeats to Liverpool and man city.

I thought today was the first time in a very long time Hughes' subs have had a positive impact on the game. Very quick to trash him when they're wrong so hats of to Sparky today and the whole team for the come back.
I think after they scored the goal until halftime was the worst I've seen Stoke play all season, they were playing like they'd never met each other stupidly putting themselves under pressure deep in our own half pissing around. So hats off to the lads for the come back we looked a lot better in the second half.
Roll on next season!!

You should of been out of sight at half time, we were terrible and have been for a while. We need to sort ourselves out this summer. Only got yourselves to blame for not putting that game to bed early doors

Second half papered over the cracks, they should have been 3 or 4 up.

MH makes to many changes to the team for them to get any fluency, we need to decide what our best team is and stick to it. Pray tell how he will do that with all our injury problems, we havent had our best team since odie and bojan injuries. Most team alter their set up based on the other teams sheet

Game of two halves. We were dreadful in the first half and battled hard in the second. The game changers for me were : The rampaging run from Ryan, Whelans goal line clearance and the fans vocal support . Man of match Imbula

Imbula was immense. I didn't know he was capable of working that hard. Ryan and Shay saved us at the back and we've only gone and scored from a bloody corner!!! My season is complete.

Doesn't matter if Arnie leaves, just stick Ryan out on the wing - WHAT A RUN!!! That really shook things up and pulled the other players socks up.

Fear not fellow Stokies... Im flying back into UK for the game, my lucky charm record since leaving Englands shores 16 years ago is very, very impressive. In fact Ive only seen us lose once at Wembley. Get everything you own on a 2-1 win, not sure how we will do it, but do it we will. UTMP I hope you all took my advice, my record is so good the club should be arranging to fly me in for every game. What a weekend in sunny S-O-T, sometimes I really miss home. Have a good summer my fellow Stokies. UTMP
