Looking on their forums, they are DESPERATE to win this and maybe qualify for Europa
Pretty cocky about it too!!!
Thinking they'll beat us comfortably - rightly going on about poor defence/GK
Im desperate to fuck it up for them, them thinking basically its little old stoke; they aren't so big a club either!
C'mon Stoke - send them hope with a mizzog!!
All the more reason for MH to do a bit of homework check this out, run it past them in the dressing room and inspire the fuck out of them and take no prisoners. It's the last game, i'd wind em up so bloody tight losing wouldn't be an option.

Charlie Adam wound up tight is a red card in waiting. Start with Bojan.

Valid point. He'd probably only get to the five minute mark before the carnage kicks off. You're right about Bojan of course, a bit more refined, if that's allowable in this day and age.

Fear not fellow Stokies...
Im flying back into UK for the game, my lucky charm record since leaving Englands shores 16 years ago is very, very impressive. In fact Ive only seen us lose once at Wembley.
Get everything you own on a 2-1 win, not sure how we will do it, but do it we will.
On a positive note we look likely to finish tenth after last nights results ended massively in our favour. Only Swansea can overtake us but that needs a win against Man city who have a champions league place at stake. I'm really surprised that we have maintained a top half position for so long given our very poor run this year.

And of course West Ham will be playing for a place in Europe and our players are Still in Dubai.
We haven't lost the final game of the season since 2010-11, so that's a positive.
I think it will be a goalfest, and have placed a suitable sum on overs at Bet365. Sorry Peter, call it redistribution of wealth. The Irons will certainly exploit Jacob's vulnerabilities.
If there were a game to have the Shaq, Arnie, Bojan combo working together it's this one surely. In my mind it just sends the right message out of real intent. If the others just keep supplying them quickly enough then we'll see what they're good at doing. One more dismantling job along the lines of City would suffice.
Give Bachmann a go in goal - he really can't do any worse. Play BMX behind Walters (to hold up the ball and link up with the runners) and try to play some football. Wet Sham will come to play and we can use the space on the break. Move Imbula back to partner Glenn and drill it into him that he has to defend too (Glenn and Ryan should be getting on his case, but the language barrier may be a problem). If Johnson is fit, as Hughes said last week that he might be, he must start as we have badly missed him.

Bachmann
Johnson Shawcross Cameron Pieters
Whelan Imbula
Shaqiri Bojan Arnautovic
Walters
Bards has done ok. So I'd leave Johnson on the bench and bring him on if needed. I'd be inclined to play Diou instead of Walters but that would work too as long as they're up front because neither are that great out wide. Moving Bojan up next to Walters or Diouf is a good option too.

I pray we don't lose this one. Know too many Hammers.
I wouldn't start with Johnson as he wont be match fit and Bardsleys done a very decent job.
I'd go with
..............Given............
Bards.....GCam......Ryan...Eric
.......Whelan........Adam......
..............Imbula...........
...Shaq.......Bojan......Arni..
Have a real go at them. Give them a man City type performance.
No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No Not the false 9 again. It should be either Bojan or Imbula for this game, not both. Might as well give Bojan a start for a change & then bring Imbula in the second half. And bring back SJW, we need his leadership now more than ever. I'd also drop Ryan & bring back Wolly. Ryan has been woeful for the past few weeks.
Prepare to concede from a Payet set piece. It's almost a bloody given at the moment. They pulled United apart with pace and set pieces. Don't want to sound all negative but this game looks pretty un-winnable. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong.
