What are you referring to as an "out" in this instance, and how can it be octed? How do you oct anything?
Am I correct in saying that octing his out is an alternative to sorting it out?

I think Hughes looks as perplexed as the fans do. He's searching for a performance from a group of players he took to Saudi seemingly to practice lying on a beach.
I can't see anyone better who is available atm, perhaps Raffa but hasn't he already turned his nose up at us before?
So I'm for sticking with Hughes thanks. 3 top 10 finishes suggest he knows what he is doing generally and so far the highest placed British manager.

Hughes is an excellent manager. Just having a bad run of form, he'll sort it out. Dunner panic!

There's no urgency with the bloke, lack of passion, lack of belief, lack of knowledge I haven't got a friggin clue I just know it's horrible to watch and getting Pulis like with predictability of losing.
I just wonder if Hughes is really the right man, Moyes was in Waddington Suite against Spurs worth a punt ?

In the cold light of day I would say
If Benitez is available in the summer then go for him.
Otherwise stick with Hughes we are safe with him. Needs to wiseup in the summer and learn the importance of work rate

I do wonder how long the Coates' family will put up with this humiliation. The club being humbled reflects badly on Bet365 and they won't allow that to go on for much longer.
Next match is massive for LMH.
The club needs stability, but ...................

Needs to wiseup in the summer and learn the importance of work rate What a bizarre comment....do you think he's been in the dressing room the last few weeks saying "Tell you what lads, just give 50% today and no more please"? Formation, tactics, lineup are down to the manager. Them not being arsed and not working hard enough is down to those on the pitch. All are players that usually do give 100% so it's not as if he's got lazy players in the side that don't know how to put the effort in. When it comes to work rate it's the players that need to take a long hard look at themselves. They've let everyone (including Hughes) down over the last few games. Try placing the blame where it lies instead of just taking a frankly lazy cop out of thinking it's all down to the boss.

What I do know is that the players don't look motivated and our organisation on set pieces is woeful. Next game needs to see an improvement.

There are a number of clubs across the world who'd be very satisfied at this point with having Hughes as their manager. Stoke fans will never be pleased. We've been poor for the past few weeks, there's no hiding that but hasn't Hughes done enough for the club to earn the trust of the supporters?
