England actually have some half decent young players creeping into the senior set up. Alli and Barley are real talents. Also, I love the idea of Kane and Vardy playing as a pair up front. However, we have an inept manager who can't trust exciting, creative players and won't move away from the "senior pros". I don't hold out much hope for us at the Euro's! You've contradicted yourself?....The exciting players you have mentioned have all been picked!!!!...and he's left out Carrick and Rooney so what you complaining about?

He has left out a player in Carrick who was only made 3 appearances in the past 3 years, Rooney is injured and will no doubt be back to gain his regular undeserved spot. Offers nowt bar scoring a penalty every now and then. And before anyone pipes up about his scoring record, bear in mind he's had 13 years at it! Playing Vardy and Kane this summer is the way to go, go with in form players like Ali and Barkley, not really convinced with Dier or Drinkwater at that level yet (the latter is untried I know, also not for me TBH ) I swear if I see Jack Fuckin Wilshire line up for our first game the TV will go through the window! For me; Hart Clyne Cahill Smalling Bertrand Milner as DM Sterling Ali Barkley Vardy Kane Give that lot some bloody freedom and license to play.

The team lacks leaders, players that can change a game when it's going wrong, there is promising young players coming through but where is the leadership that was missing in the last world cup. Noble would be a good start, but too little too late!

Surely Dier or Drinkwater have got to be a better bet at DM than Milner, because they actually are DMs, and he isn't?

Jagielka and Stones ahead of Wes Morgan just does not make sense...

Jagielka and Stones ahead of Wes Morgan just does not make sense... It does when you factor in Morgan's 23 Jamaica caps...

Had no idea he was a Jamaican international, thanks for the heads up mate I think centre half is definitely the weak point in the England team and squad. As much as I love him I am not even sure a fit Shawcross would be the answer at internaitonal level. Dont get me wrong Ryan is a great defender and the best sigining our club has ever made. I love him with all my heart, he is Mr Stoke City. I just fear that at international level he might give away penalties and free kicks with the refereeing approach they have. Also his distribution is often a bit nine iron sometimes.
