It would have been another frustrating draw, yes we won but we weren't totally convincing again tonight. Shaqiri was a class apart today, a bit quieter second half but he looked the ONLY THREAT going forward and obviously the worldy from Jack at the end. Onwards and upwards! So what you're saying is (let me get this right) - if Shaq hadn't scored we'd have only drawn the game? Fuck me I never thought of that. I'm so glad we have posters on here that can give us this sort of analysis. What are you going to tell us next - that if Butland hadn't saved that shot at the end and it'd gone in we'd have only drawn the game? I look forward to your in depth match analysis on here every week. Gouranga.

Not gonna lie, I truly expect us to demolish teams in the bottom 3. It just never happens and it frustrates the shit out of me when we look at the quality on board. Except on a few occasions, Prem teams rarely 'demolish' other Prem teams, no matter their league position. Arsenal and Swansea? Man Utd only drew with Sunderland. I really do think that people need to accept that there are NO so-called easy games. At this stage of the season, especially, it may be slightly easier to play teams with little to play for than those scrapping for their Prem lives. I truly expect us to have to earn every point we get, no matter who we play. No free meals in this league.

Why do we have to tear every performance to shreds to find fault, we won record books say 3pts I'm very happy.

Talking of corners (well, somebody was a few pages back, filling 'em in, and all that) does anybody agree that the Shaq Attack should NOT be taking corners? I can't remember the last time he delivered a decent one, yet he's given the privilege of taking 'em from the right corner flag AND the left! Beats me . . .

He put in 1 good corner yesterday near the end of the game, so yeah, he needs to improve on that.

Yeah, well one out of five is pretty average, isn't it? There was one shocker he took from the left that went racing OUTSIDE their box (I think it was the time Whelan let fly with a long range effort) and that's just wasteful with the big men lined up on the six-yard line. Sorry if I'm sounding like a moaner but I've been moaning to mesen about this for weeks now, so I thought I'd share . . .

I don't think Walters offered much tonight and one of the big problems is he is the only man in the box, I think affelay needs to get nearer to him and also if shaqiri has the ball then arnie should be darting into the middle and same if arnie has the ball, its just to simple for teams to mark the lone striker out of the game This. In the first half Shaq was getting lots of quality possession out wide but it came to nothing as Jon Walters was the only man to aim for. If we'd got bodies in the box first half we could have run up a cricket score. And that's why I liked the substitutions, though I think they should have been done earlier.

When was this string of frustrating draws you allude to? I'm genuinely interested in when it was. Frustrating game I should have said!

We are one of far too many teams with overpaid players who simply do not do enough with their ability , even Shaq as good as he can be flatters to deceive , decent shot but he was not great last night . Its not just Stoke either pretty much the whole league bar Leicester West Ham Spurs and Bournemouth have the same problems and the more we play the players the worse it will get I fear .Castle are a prime example spent a fortune on what exactly ?
