Why can't I find a fucking stream that wont buffer!!! I've tried everyone mentioned and they are all shit. Kodi is starting to become a waste of time and money Glad its not just me. As my boy plays more and more football, I thought this would help me see the game. All told, its pretty wank
Dave just get starstreams mate ... once you've got it, you'll laugh at yourself for not having subscribed for it before.
There is absolutely no difference between watching their streams and a Sky Sports HD broadcast, people have been round at my house when I've had the match on and they've steadfastly refused to believe that the picture is being streamed.

We keep telling u but u don't seem to listen. Fire sticks are crap u need to buy an android box!!!!!! ive watched the whole game in 720p on njm without a single buffer. Mind u I wish I hadn't bothered!!! If I'd have know about the limitations I'd have gone for a box but I was told fire sticks were great! Do you know if I can download films and shows on to a pendrive via a box then watch them offline? Tried it with the stick but you still need an internet connection to access the downloads and I want to take it on holiday for the kids Dave,
You can download movies and Tv shows through Kodi using an android box or if you have it setup on your pc.
For a box you will need an additional storage device such as a pen drive or external hard drive. However, if you are in the market for the box the latest model the T8 AMR version 3s is setup for the installation of a sata hard drive actually within the box. Starts getting expensive at this point though as the box would cost £105 and then a sata hard drive probably another £60. You can get these from entertainmentbox.co.uk
You cannot download all streams as you might think. However, you are only able to download within certain addons. The best one at the moment is "Velocity". Its easy to download from this.
The first thing you must do is go into the Velocity addon and set your default download location ie the hard drive or pen drive that you have attached. Then all you have to do is choose what you wish to stream, follow the procedure as normal until you reach the page with the list of download links. Highlight the link you wish to choose then press your edit button. (three horizontal lines on android smart remote or right click on mouse). Open the edit button on the link which will then list the options, click add to download. It will then save the link to the download within the addon's files. You then need to go back into Velocity, select manage downloads, click the link you have saved and select download. Once done you will be able to play offline by navigating to the saved file on your storage device. At this point you can play it through Kodi or any other media player that you may have installed on your system.
It is a common belief that once you have saved a movie to a hard drive you have over stepped the line in relation to copyright offences.

Cheers for this it massively helps but 1 last question, if I take the box abroad with films downloaded on to a pendrive will the box require an Internet connection to play them?

No you don't need and internet connection. To access the files you open the movies/video shortcut, click on the two full stops at the top of the page until you see files as one of the options. Double click files then navigate to where your files are downloaded to. It will then play as it would with any standalone media player.
I also sent you a PM.

Feeling like a bit of a c@nt at the minute, could do with some help, I know someone who got ripped off with a firestick so I told him to get a android box which he did and I set up for him, bulldog/Phoenix etc he's just rang me can't get the football to work so I've talked him through everything, acceleration etc
Turned out he was still using wifi not Ethernet so he's rectified that, got him a stream for the Norwich game but it keeps buffering jumping etc but working fine on mine, now he seems pissed off and on about slinging it in the bin.
He doesn't want to subscribe to the paid services, any other add ons I can instruct him on installing ?
Cheers in advance everyone

Tell him Download njm soccer, awesome streams, halow, sports devil, UK Turk and zemtv. Plp is down today though so streams could be difficult. If you can't find the stream on njm use sports 365 in zemtv (there's also a link from phoenix) and you will be fine. They link about 6 different streams each event and find whichever works best. I ALWAYS recommend using wired connection though.

Thanks to sports365 sending me an invite, I'm now watching footy on a stream with the quality of Sky Sports, as good as free streaming on sites like Bulldog, Phoenix, ptc sports is, paying a small amount to stream is a lot better.

Good for you guys paying, enjoy.
An observation I have today using Kodi in the cheap seats
Watching via my laptop and desktop PCs, I had a perfect experience, watched the Utd Villa game, but did flick to test others (via Phoenix & Bulldog) - no issues at all, no lag, no buffering
I also put another game on (Newcastle v Swans, and then tried Everton v Saints) on my Android tablet, where in the past I have few issues - today though it lagged and buffered all over the place.
I wonder if the issues people are having are Android related - perhaps the codecs and streams are now so HQ that Android struggles to decode them fast enough and/or the app needs more and more resource to run.
My laptop is a 3 year old Lenovo, but it does have 8Gb RAM running Windows 10 (with 2.7Ghz Intel i5 processor so its decent but not rocking the world!), but the pic was perfect via NBCSN.
(Laptop was wifi, desktop LAN, Android tab wifi)

You were all behind the curve today another addon has appeared called "Adrian" which had all the Premier League Pass streams today. I watched and they worked perfectly on all 3pm games.
You can install it manually here Adrian
However, it is now incorporated in the Wookie Wizard build which was updated a couple of days ago. I have posted how to install this build many times on this thread.
