Was just about to post this.
Interesting read as always.
What struck me was there seemed to be a lot of discussion regarding away fans visiting the Britannia stadium, which is all well and good, but shouldn't the focus be Stoke City fans?
And also, I can't quite fathom why the club are completely foregoing providing any assistance to fans regarding what happened at Liverpool. Fans must communicate directly with Malcolm? Surely it is beneficial if the club are behind any remonstrations the fans may have and any potential improvements pursued?

Glad to hear that the club's stance on not saying refusing to comment on how they voted was as a result of the secret ballot. We have excellent owners.

Why do we need toilets outside the ground? Meeting point outside the Stadium- a meeting point for what? Sir Stan's statue is the place isn't it?

The comment re away fans in no way detracts from the home fans issues nor replaces them. The club have attended a meeting at Liverpool today. It was decided that as the FSF were coordinating issues from several games at Liverpool that this was the best way of handling the matter for all concerned.
Requests has been made for toilets to be available outside the ground. We pass on all reasonable requests to the club.
Thanks for your observations

Peace, I don't have to protest at all because I do not believe that is true. If you can point out who these people are, please do, you have the e mail address. However, the council member who you might have been referring to left the Council last year . I look forward to receiving your mail . For the record, I don't want ticket prices to rise, you may see that I asked for a reduction if possible.

Looks like the flag issue has been fobbed off again. Why should it be up to supporters to sort it out and come up with suggestions, they are the ones running the show. You lot should be pushing for this as its been raised enough times and will improve the look of the stadium on match days,

One thing I would like the Supporters Council to take to the next meeting regarding concourse congestion is the following.
In the Seddon stand (block 30), congestion has increased since the TVs have been moved. The tv was moved and it now is positioned closer to the mens toilet entrance. This creates huge problems as people stand and watch the TV at half time and block the whole concourse meaning people cannot get in or out of the mens toilet. One solution to this would be to move the tv away from the mens toilet entrance (back to where it used to be placed) and create a better access to and from the toilet.

Keep fighting the fight ange. A reduction in prices would be brilliant and would set the club streets apart from the rest.
What a brilliant precedent it would set and fabulous PR it would be.

Muttley your points were raised at meeting prior to this, as was those by Timbo and Staffs Potter as can be seen by the minutes. On occasions we have to wait for the requests and questions to be discussed and agreed by the club and it's officers. In future we will have a section for ongoing issues and updates in the minutes.
Thanks

I'm very disheartened to learn that the meeting still went ahead without Ilford Dave. What’s the frigging point?

Is this the place to suggest someone requests a testimonial for Wilko for the club to organise?

Definitely agree with the white kit comment. It would be the first kit I would buy in years. Actually looks half decent.

Thanks Ange, the minutes regarding my point reflect the talk about congestion but my point was more around the TV screens and how these could be better placed. Was this discussed and not mentioned specifically in the minutes?

Meeting point outside the Stadium; The Council requested a meeting point that is under cover. The Club acknowledged the request and will look into this.Read more at www.stokecityfc.com/news/article/supporters-council-meeting-minutes-2956619.aspx#ytOIFDh4wrWeFkyq.99 A covered meeting point outside the ground?? Surely our first priority should be the provision of booths for programme / half time draw sellers who stand outside for 3 hours prior to every home game, often in cold and wet conditions. The makeshift use of bin bags and plastic sheeting not only reflects poorly on our status as a Premier League club but also indicates a total lack of concern for the welfare of these loyal casually employed staff.

I admire those who participate in these meetings, I really do, but I still get the feeling it is seen as a necessary evil by the Chief Bean Counter, so that he is "seen" to be listening to supporters, without it ever actually achieving too much of substance.
If the club wanted real supporter involvement, the supporters' trust would have a spot on the board of directors.

Catering outlets and somewhere to drink outside should be on the agenda never mind bloody toilets I don't see them as alternatives - in fact if you have more places to drink outside the ground, there will be an increased need for toilets, for obvious reasons. I think toilets outside the ground is a good idea, and it's entirely appropriate that the SC members should raise it. I can't see why anyone would be opposed to the idea ? How feasible it is and where it would sit in a priority list for improvements is another question.
