Sorry, but he's been panned on here as a player from day one. Not our results, or our performances, but 'him' as a player. He's young and inexperienced, but as I've said before, it absolutely wouldn't surprise me if within a few seasons, he's a fixture in a good European club's midfield. I can't remember much that he's done wrong, but for whatever reason, some have made their mind up about him. Certain facets of his game are already over-and-above those that our alternative CMs have and he's still a raw young lad in experience terms. He's one that I'd be securing for the future if the deal was right, because from where I'm stood, within 18 months we are going to need 3 or 4 players in to fulfil the CM spots. Whelan is ageing; MVG isn't our player; Adam is...well...Adam; Sidwell has gone; Ireland won't be far behind; Cameron isn't a CM; I'm not 110% convinced that Afellay is either. So I think that we could do worse than including MVG in our pool of 'fresh blood'. Premier League bad luck charms: team-by-team guideStoke City - Marco van Ginkel
Has a bigger negative impact on win rate than any other Premier League player to both play and miss at least five games. Stoke win 60 per cent of the time when Van Ginkel is absent, including victories over Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City, while they have failed to win any of the eight he has started.
Difference in win rate: -60%
Not sure that's fair on the lad, we'll never know how games would have gone if he'd started/not started and it's never down to one player for a loss (or win). Simple fact is we need more consistency. Perhaps Chelsea won't let him go(snigger).

FM we could buy Remy without selling Diouf and surely if MVG goes Remy would only be a loan? Allegedly Remy only wants to go out on loan a) to use whatever club he joins to improve his form and fitness and b) give him a chance to impress any new manager at Chelsea in the summer. Would rather keep Diouf if I'm honest.

When he first joined he was a poor player and games passed him by. For me he definitely had a big negative impact and we lost alot of the midfield with him in it. Now he's only getting bit-part games I'm seeing more about him and think he could turn into a decent player for the right price but doubt Chelsea would want to sell for approx £5m. As such I'd be a little disappointed to see him go now but wouldn't have been 5games into the season!

FM we could buy Remy without selling Diouf and surely if MVG goes Remy would only be a loan? Remy wants a loan but Chelsea want to sell him, he could be too expensive wages for Leicester but we would need to return MGV. That would allow Diouf to go to Leicester. Pure speculation of course

Diouf to Leicester, MvG to France on loan, Remy to us on loan - I'd take that.

Would we be happy with that? Assuming that there has been a problem between Diouf and Hughes it would make sense. Happy, no I like Diouf.

Would we be happy with that? I think so Purrly because he is not going to get the game time and Remy would be a decent short term solution up front

If van ginkel is frustrated like has been stated in the sentinel, why would he Want to sign permanently after we've bought someone who plays in his position?

Sign Van Ginkel, Remy won't want to stay here ( a bit like Moses imo) MVG will turn in to a good player and is starting to show that However the issue is he will not get enough game time We have the new chappie, Aff, Whelan, Geoffrey coming back, Bojan and even Ireland And if we played him and he was wow the buggas would want a lot of money Chelsea don't sell on the cheap

What a waste. But he needs to go for the sake of his career. We can't be killing it here.

Surely he goes back now?
Not impressed at all tbh.
Not terrible, and he is young but no quality. Hoping for goals from him,not seen anything to suggest he would get many

Disappointed if he goes. He'll be a top player in the future IMO.

Diouf to Leicester, MvG to France on loan, Remy to us on loan - I'd take that. We they'd all best be fairly advanced you'd hope because that's a hell of a lot to do in 4hrs 21mins

Good use can still be made if the loan system while we build our team. Remy on loan would do me. Van gink could turn out be decent player but will be waste of loan place if we get the new lad in.

I'd rather see Adam leave but hopefully that will happen in the summer.
Whelan/Cameron Imbula/Afellay
are 4 good options for us.

I like him, he's a decent player and could be a long term replacement for Glenn alongside the new guy for the two midfield births. Cannot see it happening though.
If you don't score a goal a game or make two assists you are shit to most of the idiots on this forum.

I think if Chelsea had sent him to a good championship side last season instead of to Italy he might have done better for us , found it hard coping with the league at first but can see signs now of why he has gone for good money , dont blame him for going back to PSV if he can play every week ,
