Top Goal Keeper but.... He did very little during the Penalty shoot out to tip the scales in Stoke's favour. Mongeloid did everything he could to get into the heads of Stoke players, kicking posts, waving arms, dancing, punching cross bar etc Butland's stance with hands on knees was also very strange. Needs to do more, very frustrating.

Butland saves shots outside of penalty shootouts.
Think I'll let him off.

Rutland is the smallest county in the uk (arguably for half the year - when the tide is out on the Isle of Wight). If it's on a football pitch I agree it should fill the goal. It's distribution is shit though.

Fantastic goalkeeper, on the day mignolet was a better penalty saver, but I know which keeper I'd rather have for each and every game...

I never understand why keepers insist on guessing all the time for penalties. With Butlands size and reflexes he'd save far more if he stood his ground and tried to save it.

Even a top goalkeeper like Jack.

If it wasn't for his penalty saving heroics back in October we wouldn't even be here.

If you want to apportion blame look at the first leg....tonight the lads were great and nows not the time to pick up on anyone tonight.

He's arguably the best keeper in the league and he plays for our club. Just remember that.
I'm not sure how much goalkeeper antics really come into the minds of the penalty taker. Very much doubt at the point of putting the ball down he's worried about the keeper jumping up and down. We had 100s of Stoke fans in view doing everything they could to put off the L'pool players and it didn't do much did it?

And that's my opinion, but stats prove that so far he's the best keeper in the premiership and that's not an opinion that's a FACT !!

The only issue I had was Benteke is known to wait for the keeper to dive before rolling it in. Jack should have known.
However fucking hell penalties just how it is.
We were lucky at Luton.

He's 22 years old and still a baby in keeper years . Give him a break Atleast 10 years ahead of him harry. He'll save his fair share of penos' in that time. I'm certain he'll be one of Englands all time greats,as for now,he's only just come off his mommas tit.

Goalkeeping isn't about penalty shoot outs. If Mingolet thinks he's a hero he needs look at the bread and butter games. Fuck off Liverpool
