Bojan is genuinely one of the mist exciting players in the Premiership at the moment. He's had a handful of games where he's not been as dazzlingly brilliant as normal, probably because he's played a lot of games in a short time and is not long back from a serious injury.
I am 100% certain that within a few hpgames he will be back to normal.
Players of his calibre do have "off periods".

It's one of those judgements isnt it. You've got a man who can turn a game in 30 seconds. Trouble is, you might have to wait 3 matches for the 30 seconds. Then he'll win you the match with a flash of genius. How often do you play him? How long do you wait?

He was slightly better second half and nearly scored but overall his form has just massively dipped.

That's the way lads. Full on support. Disgrace. Not even the "New Messi " is immune on the Oatcake

Wonder if it the British weather that is not agreeing with him at the moment?

It's simple really. Stop bojan and Arnie and you stop stoke. Without shak out wide they let Walters have it and crowd them two out.

Some of our lot don't deserve players like Bojan.
Most lack loyalty. A lot are devoid of patience or support.
Thick as two short planks.

Although not playing his best, we seemed to lose a bit of attacking impetus when he went off.

We took him off and had nothing until Adam came on.
Just saying.

Calling him a passenger is just ignorant.
He may not be at his best but he always looks for the ball and looks to make stuff happen. He doesn't hide when it's not going well. Not passenger behaviour.

Ever heard of the word form?

It is not only ignorant, but unfair and offensive as well. He is the least passenger-like player I can think of. It's fine to point out when he doesn't have a great game, obviously, but passenger? Seriously?

Worth having on the pitch for moments that win games, like Everton away

He,might not be a passenger but he is not an SJW Arnie type who is charging around the pitch throwing his weight around off the ball. If it's not happeningfor him on the ball he needs to be rested. Is it true that as luck would have it Joselu is looking fresh and up for it and worth a go? I think yes... I would rest bojan and let Joselu have a run.. We paid millions for him so let's see what he can do :-)

Some of our lot don't deserve players like Bojan. Most lack loyalty. A lot are devoid of patience or support. Thick as two short planks. Get a grip. People are pointing out that the lad is suffering with his form. Which he is. The lad still gets 100% backing from the fans.

Had a good old think about this during the second half. I think I've got the answer.
Boo him till he scores then cheer his name. That should do it.

Bojan is still a top drawer player. He is also not 100% recovered from his knee problem, and missed our pre season. The lad will come good, but I'd suggest starting a few games on the bench and being brought on for half an hour depending how the game is going..

Although not playing his best, we seemed to lose a bit of attacking impetus when he went off. I agree. Yes Bojan isn't at his very best, but after he went off we totally surrendered the mid-field and had to resort to route 1, which only started to pay off in the last few minutes.

He's suffering, as many others have done, with the post cruiciate slump, he'll get over it, a lot quicker with the Stokie love, but he'll get over it regardless.

Posts like that jumping down the throat of anyone who offers fair and justified criticism are just as cringe worthy and embarrassing as those that deride any player who has an off game as; "wank" etc.

I don't think having Joselu up top helps. Diouf plays on the shoulder and threatens behind, so the defenders either close Bojan and leave Diouf threatening, or track Diouf's runs and leave Bojan in space. But Joselu's in such good form it'd be unkind to him to drop him. Joselu could play in the hole with Bojan beyond him? Or rest Bojan and play someone else in the hole: Afellay or Adam?

its disgusting the way some people turn on our players, you're fucking shameful People are commenting on his performances, if you don't like it don't come onto a DISCUSSION board. Edit: I'm guessing you are disgusted with Hughes doing the same thing the other day.

He's just getting less space as other teams in the league attempt to cope with the new stokealona. After everything he has done for the club to change our image and playing style you'd think he would get a break FFS. Hughes has seen this and introduced Walters and Joselu more and more recently to take some pressure off Bojan. Meantime he needs to toughen up once again mentally and physically because the oppo are targeting him now.

Arnie in the hole didn't work, maybe showing how tough Bojan's job was or more likely that Arnie is better suited to space out wide. Substitution didn't really help us today

Nothing is quite coming off for him at the mo..He looks a bit tired in mind and body.
He will be back though. As they say, form is temporary but class is permanent.
