We don't need 4 strikers. It's an absolute waste. He was.......mainly down to the fact we played the ball to him as a target man but his touch was dreadful etc and I thought he was bone idle. I was really disappointed with him. What agenda? Do tell me because I certainly don't know what agenda it is. What has he done? Absolutely sod all! Which for a supposed creative, attacking player isn't good enough. Ireland shouldn't be starting but Bojan should be dropped. I don't think Adam does......I think Arnie does.....he will have. you clearly do, exactly the same with your agenda against Cameron but I won't get into that . Why should bojan be dropped. Scored 2 already and is setting up attacks. He needs to play to get fitness aswell. And if Ireland shouldn't start who the fuck are we gonna play there ? Affelay ahaha. As I've said already, no indication that Arnie wants to leave. He's still got a year and a half, don't worry, it'll get sorted Nope. Agendas are a load of old bollocks. It's just a lazy argument done because it's easy to make and you don't have to bother. He looks absolutely knackered and in the recent matches has been poor. He does 45 minutes and then from that he's gone, that isn't right with how long he's been back. He looks to me like he needs a rest. Shaq with Walters on the right. It's got the energy we need to get in their faces and should allow Shaq who has imo been our best attacker in the last few games more chances to get on the ball. And will give the option of Bojan from the bench. People were saying that with Bego and Fonz.

Is anyone else no too bothered? If he'd have gone in January we'd have been forced to look for someone else, someone better that would have a better good game ratio. Gouranga.

Good news !! Of all the players we have over 30 JW is the least likely to have fitness issues*, so he's worth 2 years. We still need a better striker as competition for Diouf though, imo
*obviously Given is an exception but he nearly 40 and a goalkeeper, so not comparable

Gave us an outlet against villa, and didn't put a foot wrong against Newcastle . What do you mean 45 minutes and knackered isn't right for bo?He was out for 9 months, with a torn ligament. He's played played about 7 games and has lasted longer in everyone. Recovery from that injury is a long road, many players don't make it back from that. Appreciate it takes time mate.Shaq looks a lot better recently but I'd keep him out on the right, he looked very dangerous when he took on the full back and I think bojan and Shaq will benefit massively with Diouf back. Fonz put 2 transfer requests in so everyone saw that coming. Bego threw the toys out the pram and his below par performances near the end showed he wasn't staying

Fantastic news! The club needs the SJW, Shawcross, Whelo's of the world. Makes everyone feel more settled I guess that he's signed as he seems very popular with the lads. Right, Come on Stoke! Hopefully a SJW celebratory goal or two

Point in case when I have my "agenda" against Wilson and the one against Cameron but people think I love Wilson an actually want him playing etc. Or I just think they're both shit, have done for some time and that won't change and hasn't. It's not an agenda, it's just what I think based on long term performances. He's created fuck all, that's his job. If he's not doing that he's poor. He's been training non-stop since before pre-season and I think it's showing. He has? He's stayed on but he's looked absolutely shagged after 45 minutes in every game he has played. It is a long road and I think he needs a few weeks off. They did but there was still a hope there, there are noises about Arnie but they're not coming from him. I think he has a very clever agent!

Quite how you take a VERY positive piece of news and spin it into a bitch is beyond me. Since Hughes our transfers have been completely different in an improved way and the average age of the squad has decreased. It was interesting to hear this week the highest average age of a squad was West Brom. We're no spring chicken in comparison but nevertheless we have quality pros such as Given, Crouch, Walters, Sidwell, Odem, Johnson, Whelan, Adam and Ireland to up the numbers. Has it decreased? Is that official? It's going to be about the same isn't it? More than half of those players we don't need......which is my point. Of course we don't need them. Just why would we need squad players for a 9 month season? I just don't get it.

Bojan creates enough and does enough in the 50 odd minutes he's fit for that he justify a starting place. Arnie has actually stated he's happy here and as for agents, they all talk shit and are only doing it to draw more morney out the club, they all do it

Decent squad player.
Can't imagine Odem or Crouch will be here next season so makes sense to keep a utility man.

SJW and Odim can cover several positions. The manager obviously rates Sidwell (as most people on here did when we signed him). We could probably lose Bardsley. Would people really be happy with the bench being filled - in the event of any injury/suspension crisis - that happens most seasons - with a bunch of 'kids' on the bench? Not that you like moaning but I'm sure you'd be fine with that.

We have no real cover for either wing. Walters does a job out there but we need a pacy player as cover and then Walters. We should have done that this summer, Crouch and Wingie then become massively irrelevant. We don't need Sidwell or Bardsley......we never did. Probably not but having 25 experienced pros is too much for my liking. And even with a squad 22/23 we'd need one kid on there...........I think that's actually very healthy.

Captain and goalscoring hero. Pretty impressive!

Good on you lads. Enjoy the Guinness tonight (not too much. We've got a game on Saturday!)
