He ensured we lost yesterday, but he can't take the majority of the blame, we would have lost anyway, the whole team must take the blame. One moment summed it up for me, Watford were attacking and Wollscheid and a few others were just standing off their men, Whelan rushed past them and tackled the opposing player and won the ball. There was too much lack of urgency about the whole team.

Is it really an apology ? or is it an explanation about his lack of time and injuries ?
Apology or excuse.

He acknowledged it was probably his worst game in a Stoke shirt. If injuries and lack of minutes have been a factor in his performance, and there's a strong case that they have, why shouldn't that be discussed?

Im not sure why in Modern football we have got rid of reserve football , very hard to come back into the standard with no games but the manager has to be questioned in terms of selecting him when Muniesa who has had a few games was avaialble I'm fairly sure Leslie said somewhere that Muniesa was injured.

Yesterday was shit. No escaping the fact. Losing, with a shit performance, ruins my weekend. But not as much as having to breathe the same air as some of our so-called fucking 'fans'. I would honestly prefer to see 10,000 supporters every week again, like the bad old days, if it meant that these mouth-breathers stayed away, doing whatever else floats their fucking boats. It's ever likely Stoke as a place is on its arse. It's full of 'Oi, you owe me a living', uneducated fucktards. There is a vast difference between supporters, fans and customers....... supporters are there through thick, thin & thinner, they did not jump on any band waggon and are a class above the next bracket, Fans Fans turn out for the big games or when the club is doing well but only follow the club at a distant at times of woe Customers are what the premier league installed and are the ones who will disappear completely or at best drop in to the bracket of fans when the gravy train runs dry take a look at the bloke who sits next to you and after listening to them for 90 mins you know the bracket that they fall in to or you have a damn close opinion.

I have now watched it several times and Wilson was awful and needed to apologise. I now await the apology from Wooly because he was even worse. Lost his man for the first goal and then stood and watched the second, instead of closing the man down. Absolutely shocking defending. The pair of them were a disaster for both goals and Ryan can't come back soon enough for me.

No it's just an honest appraisal of his tweets it's a conditional apology blaming his injury and lack of playing time which by anyone's honest opinion is making excuses.

Good on him for that , but regarding game time ,there is only so much you can explain away !
Sometimes when you get caught on the ball it's because you been stitched up to a point but with regards to the goal he has so much time and so many opinions it's laughable , truly laughable !

He's not obliged to apologise, plenty of players have shit games and don't. If Ryan comes back and has a nightmare presumably we'll be ruthlessly unforgiving and allow him no leeway as well?

Respect to him for having the balls to hold his hand up.......no doubt he'll try to raise his game as a result and time will tell how that impacts on his performances, of which no doubt there will be more. Successive managers have rated his usefulness and that means more than the opinion of a few narrow minded so called fans. It's not acceptable to abuse him personally if your a stoke fan as it will only make things worse for him and our club. These people need to grow up, if they cannot say something constructive to one of OUR players then they should say nothing at all!!!

For somebody who is normally one or the more sensible posters that it just daft, they are professional footballers they should know what to do, and to say Wilson's balls up for the second goal is anything but rank toss play is having a laugh, so that was down to injuries or lack of playing time ? No it was just his normal shit he does time after time in every games he has ever played. He got caught AGAIN it's shit mate not lack of time or injuries it's shit.

Again, if Ryan comes back and isn't 100% his imperious self there'll be no sympathy from you there either, yes?

I give up mate you clearly won't or don't except that he was making excuses but just for you if Ryan tweeted he was rubbish because of lack of time or injuries I would have the same opinion of the tweet. That is my point not, whether or not he should play again. My thoughts are on his tweet nothing else and it's making excuses.

The treatment by fans would be different but why is it out of the question that it could've been a factor in Wilson's performance but won't be questioned for Ryan? The circumstances are similar. Yesterday wasn't a typical Wilson performance.

Yeah or course it is I have been many times where booing has taken place and every ground at some point it happens you pay your money and your free to boo if you like. Utter bollocks, not the most eloquent of replies but yeh, utter bollocks, booing and goading your own player during play should never happen, they need helping through it if they're having a shitter, not getting shit off their own fans.
