I think they are decent value. People keep saying that they can't win the league but they are the most consistent team in it. Good luck to them, I say. They were 5000 to 1 before season started to win it and odds on to be relegated. Great init. Yeah, sooner them win it than The Shit or Arsenic.

Once you get over the jealousy part you can only hope Leicester make it. Like Ranieri as a man, but as a manager he's managed to get sacked from every job he's had since Chelsea, amazing turnaround.

would it go down as the greatest sporting achievement of all time? For me, undoubtedly. When you put it into context with all the riches of the top clubs it would just be astounding. Also worth noting that with exactly the same players they were almost relegated last season. Obviously i appreciate it's still highly unlikely they will win the league but it's an absolute joy to see. Even more so because Chelsea and United are doing so shit. I like to think the country can unite in adopting Leicester as their second team this season. Their success thus far is a big "fuck off" to all the glory hunting wankers out there and truly inspirational to any underdog in life, sport or anything else. If they get top 4 or somehow win the league it would easily be the biggest victory football has ever had imo.
If Leicester are still top come January will they have a serious chance of snapping up a couple of big names? Would that be wise or would it upset the balance of what they have?
Come on Leicester! (and Stoke of course!)

I am only a litte jeolous though.

Yes, as a team achievement, one of the greatest ever in the history of sport. The only qualification I would have is, it is more difficult to be an individual world champion, even in sports like F1 and Tour de France which are really also team sports, but there is much more pressure on the individual performer. Will they achieve it? I don't think so. Why not? 1. They let in too many goals, 2. They are going to find it too difficult to keep up their scoring record all season, 3. They do not have enough depth of talent in their squad. 4. As the attached link shows, they have played the easier half of their fixtures, i.e. top teams at home, bottom half teams away. www.soccerstats.com/team.asp?league=england&teamid=9They have done well but they are going to find it gets a lot tougher playing top teams away, who will have worked out how to stop them scoring, and bottom teams at home, who will "park the bus". I don't want them to fail at the moment, let them keep the limelight while we steadily accumulate points under the radar and keep within striking distance of a European slot.

Any team outside of the perceived top 4 would be great. If its Leicester they will have deserved it.No one expects them to keep it going but they have so far. Losing 1 game in the last 16 is champions form. Why not?

Barring the obvious couple of players, they are a very average team. I would expect them to finish around 7th, which is still a great season for them.

I never have understood people who take pleasure in the misery of others - except fans of Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea and Man City because they can piss off!!! I am old enough to remember when Arsenal were a bunch of thugs, Chelsea and Man City were mid-table teams and Man U were relegated. It happens. Our time is now.

(and Stoke of course!) It would be a fantastic achievement but its not even the greatest achievement in football or close, for that Notts Forest will take some beating to go from the championship to twice european champions in the space of four years I doubt will ever be beaten and that was at a time the European cup was the champions league not the fourth placed runners up league, knock out all the way and only champions or European cup holders qualified. If it was the same format as now Liverpool alone would almost certainly have won another 2 or 3 European Cups.

Leicester are currently in an almost unique position by todays footballing standards that their first XI is on fire. In a game now ruled by squads that effectively have two players of quality for every position that takes some doing. I can put partisan dislike to one side for a club of their size and say for them to take a top four spot means that one of the über clubs misses out, diluting the pool. That's got to be a good thing, If it was us, I'd love to think that clubs the size of Leicester would be urging us on and I'm happy to reciprocate. If we can find our shooting boots, we could join them up there too. This season more than ever.

You'd soon see ex-players coming out of the woodwork and mentioning about their time with the "GREAT,PROPER FAMILY" club, players like.... Steve Claridge..... Peter Shilton.... Our very own Gordon Banks.... And David Oldfield!!! Won't include Lineker cuz to be fair, he's never hid from his fondness of Leicester, even through the bad times!!!

Just like everyone else, I've been waiting for it all to fall apart for them............but it hasn't (as yet).
Obviously they are reliant on three key players and would struggle to maintain a challenge without them but that would be true of many clubs. However, this is pretty much the same side that looked doomed to relegation last season for much of the season and you really do have to tip your hat to them. Bloody good luck to them.
Least we forget, on that glorious day that we achieved Premier League football, our opponents were relegated to the THIRD TIER. Since then, they have fought their way back to the top division, achieving a record points haul in the Championship en route. They were a much better team last season than many of their results would have you believe and they have been simply amazing so far this season, having lost a key player from last season.
You really have got to hand it to them and surely mose will wish them well.

I'm still pinching myself about how we managed to piss a 2-0 lead up the wall against with these clowns from Leicester

If they are up there after 25 - 26 games they definitely will have a chance cause Man City aren't that strong this season, Arsenal are unpredictable and Man Utd are wank lol, I don't want them win it because I'm too jealous and lets be honest so are a lot of other supporters ( but won't admit it).

If they do win it then the managers of Citeh, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea should all resign on the day they clinch it. Mainly through of embarrassment.
