A police horse farted in my face at Leeds. Not until 1988 though. Had you been waiting long? I'd been waiting since 1981!! Nah, I made that up. It was after a 0-4 defeat. Miserable Mills memory.

...who thought that "Lee from Leicester" on 606 Saturday night, was just a girt soppy girl who needs to get a grip!? His snivvling drivel was even repeated on Radio 2 this morning and made me cringe even more. Surely that is NOT what supporting your team is all about? He couldn't put a coherent sentence together and just kept blowin' smoke up Robby Savage's arse! I just hope that someone exposes Lee as a fraud who hasn't been to see the Foxes for years until they got back in the Prem! Of course, he could turn out to be the most passionate and emotional footie fan of all time and make me look a right knob...but I have a feeling he was just a half-pissed tosspot. I thought he was an absolute cock hole myself. Completely over the top, felt sorry for his son who he kept blubbering on about. Pissed me right off. Especially after a loss

Yes I heard it on the way back home from our game driving down the M6 and thought it was both pathetic and embarrasing. Robbie Savage and his sidekick just let him ramble on, repeating himself over and over again. If he was a relation of mine I would be ashamed to admit it.Big girls blouse. Quite right, even before he started blarting he couldn't finish a sentence and needed cutting off, once the flood gates opened, I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing. I love my football team but I don't think I've ever shed a tear over them (a lump in the throat maybe). Clearly can't hold his beer and doing that on national radio, well I'm just glad he was a Leicester supporter really.

I have only cried twice in my lifetime over football, once as a heartbroken 12 year old who couldn't accept that 'The Mighty Villa' were in Div 3 and then in Rotterdam as an estatic fan who's journey from Div 3 to Champions of Europe was complete, but that Leicester fan should show some festive spirit and enlighten the nation to what he drank or smoked before that call

Good to see someone different up there. I'd love for it to be us in that situation. But in the absence of that its nice to see someone other than the usual suspects leading the way.

I fancy when the dust settles on this season there is at least much chance it is the likes of Everton and Southampton we will be competing with for a Top 8 berth as the Foxes.

They could but Arsenal have been twatted 4-0 at Southampton, so Leicester are still in with a shout.
This is the most mental Premier League season I've ever seen, it's good seeing the big boys getting bloody noses for a change.

I think if they attack Man City they could score a few and that will put them right again.

From the motd highlights I thought they were good for a point. I hope they do keep going wen if I've got family member who are annoying Leicester fans. (On the wife's side obviously - if it was up to me we'd never speak to them again)

If they can get 2-4 points out of the next two matches then they are going to be in prime position to go all the way.
If they can't win the man city and arsenal games they need to draw them to keep both teams at arms length.

Given Arsenals current form, they could do them especially with their pace and power Apparently Man City were not that great last night either Would be a great story and I for one hope they do it

To be honest mate this is one of the best football stories I have ever seen this time last year they were written off.

there cant be too many people still writing off their chances. They still are showing the best form and picking up the points they need.

Great example of developing a team and getting the best out of each individual - they have been lucky with injuries but other than that it's a credit to all concerned. Worthy of total respect. Would be an achievement of astonishing proportions if they won the league.

I'd love them to win it to be fair. It would be fantastic for English football and it would show everyone that you don't need mega finances to do it. Just a solid and functional system with no frills tactics with a group of super motivated players.
I don't think they will do it, but they've had a fantastic season either way.

When I think Of Leicester City and all the 'happy clappers' wanting them to win the premier league, my thoughts turn to their ( alleged) 'well timed' descent into receivership around the time of their stadium having been constructed and, was in the process of being fitted out.
I say this not out of spite but honest recollection - upon which, Im happy to be corrected)
I distinctly recall a nationally televised news article about the victims of said receivership - one fella in particular featured who, who owned a business - supplying those large wardrobe sized wine coolers you see in club Corporate dining suites and, corporate boxes.
The unfortunate business man having supplied and delivered a large number of wine coolers to the brand new ground immediately before said receivership / bankruptcy and, also having paid for all the glass doors to be sent to Italy to have the club crest engraved on said, glass doors at his own expense - up front.
he had about 100 people (was it) working for him and eventually got 10p in the pound ( was it ?) for his efforts from the official receivers.
his company of course was bankrupted and I understand / recollect, the TV report ended with them all having lost their jobs and livelyhoods.
And this was just one example of, one supplier to the stadium construction project and what it meant.
I always therefore think of think of these sad and unfortunate consequences when anyone refers to Leicester
City and their subsequent post bankrutpsy associations.
I even understand some of the FA football rules as regards clubs in receivership were changed precisely because
of what Leicester City and their ilk were doing around that time,
(allegedly)
SO - do all you happy clappers still want them to win the Premier league ?
Because I -Dont
