Would it be a good thing or a bad thing for English football?
If we don't get any teams in the semi finals of the CL again and Leicester (or any other team not used to being there) choke we could end up losing a place and only the top 3 teams gaining access to the following years CL.
Only a hyperthetical question at the minute but it could happen.

Leicester are proving they mean business and have the credentials to finish top 4 - on current form.

It would be unequivocally a good thing.
Fuck the co-efficient.

I am sure it would be cool (and bit exotic) for CL. "Fresh" names in CL are always interesting. Just wish Stoke will be there one day!

At least it would give Roy a bigger pool of players to pick from.

I hope so - sod the old established top four, dull bastards. Got a feeling it won't happen though.

Good luck to them - stunning performance from them so far this season. I keep waiting for them to come a cropper but they keep delivering. Champions League - why not. And if them - why not us?
That said give me a cup win over a top 4 finish any time.

Most of the bookies have them 5th Fave, for the title, and at an average of 20 / 1 that's gotta be worth a punt.

I hope so, if for no other reason than to knock one of the "we budget for the champions league" teams out of that fucking competition.

I was watching the Chelsea - Leicester game tonight and it came to me that if it was Arsenal playing Chelsea, or Man City, or Man Utd, I wouldn't even remotely care. It reinvigorates a long lost interest in the habits of the teams at the top of the table. If there's any luck, this will bring the whole house of cards crashing down and give us football back.

Certainly buggers the mindset that the glass ceiling can't be broken. I hope they stay top four 'til May.

Leicester are not a team I have ever had a liking for, but I would love to see them crack the top four. It's about time somebody dispelled the myth that the top 20% of the table is a closed shop. It just takes one team to show it's possible, and hopefully the reality will have a trickle down effect.
Now imagine if our second half of the season was on a par with what Leicester have produced in the first half? It's a stretch, but it's certainly not beyond the realms of possibility.

They were 5000 to 1 before season started to win it and odds on to be relegated. Great init.
