The wind was doing strange things with his hair in the second half. He looked like woody woodpecker or sid vicious with a mohican.

He's slightly better than Mangala, that's a total of £60m worth of central defensive talent. As opposed to Shawcross at a grand total of £2m. Our pair in central defense were brought in for less than £5M! Compare that to City's spending! CRAZY!!!

Anyone wanting to stock up on Kleenex and watch the whole thing again you can get it at fullmatchesandshows.com
I haven't a fucking clue as far as streams and stuff go, basically I need something I can just click and it works. There's an ad every 5 mins or so but worth it just for the first 15 mins.

With the exception of Robinson none of them played pro football but they're just so much more knowledgeable than some of the ex pros you get on sky.
Excellent listening. Get the likes of Henry, Owen and McManaman off and replace them with these guys and football will be so much better for the changes.

Probably one of the worst defensive performances I've ever seen by him and that old man, Jesus it was embarrassing

Played like a hulking great pile of fetid afterbirth.
And the fact that Martin Demichelis is starting games for the team that should be pissing the league just says it all really.

looked extremely out of his depth but he's by all accounts a very talented player and probably needs time to adjust to the league. playing alongside demichelis can't help either. that said, his transfer fee will weigh heavily this season especially.

Not even sly- bleeding obvious.
In the modern game it's a red for me.

It was a bad tackle yes but it's not a red card for me, yellow was the right decision.
Ryan was head and shoulders the best CB on the pitch yesterday.

Just think how good they can be ;-)

Obviously yesterday was all about just how well we played and how technically superb we were. However there was a moment very early on in the game that for me, told Man City in no uncertain terms that we weren't in the mood to be pissed about with. We sit high up in Block 23 so had a great view of the (yet again) outstanding Erik Pieters running at full pace and steaming through (while fairly and squarely winning the ball) Bacary Sagna who was left visibly shaken by the challenge much to the Stokie's delight who were sat near to the incident. From then on we played some quite simply sublime football but with no little steel when required too. Perhaps I'm putting too much emphasis on that early tackle but for me it can take something like that to create the spark that performances like yesterday are born out of. Bloody proud of them all! I agree. I know the forward players generally get MOM but he is becoming consistent

Anybody else notice the small section of Man City fans clapping Shaqiri as he got subbed off? Nice bit of appreciation for one of the best performances I've ever witnessed in the red and white stripes. Stoke fans get tons of respect from Man City fans for how we behaved at Wembley in the Cup Final. Staying behind to applaud their cup presentation and shaking hands post match.

City! There's only one City! Watching the game in a bar in Thailand in my stripes and at half time a Manc came in, saw me and asked the score, when I told him stoke 2 -0 up he asked if "Citeh" were playing shite, " No...Far from it...We are playing awesome, that's why we are 2-0 up" They have caught the United arrogance from there neighbours, they think that they have exclusivity on being called City....Twats...The lot of em...
