It's 6 of one half a dozen of the other
Blighted by injuries, a player that undermined him and the third best player in the world his job was hard but then again he bought so much shit to replace them
The argument for getting rid made stronger by two decent replacements available

Funny how things go, 18 short months ago he was within a Steven Gerrard slip of Liverpool's first title for nearly a quarter of a century and in the blink of an eye he has gone, fickle business football. Exactly right. In 1969(?) during a pre-1970 World Cup tour in Mexico, Jeff Astle shot at goal and the ball was stopped by a defender with his hand. Francis Lee missed the subsequent penalty, England drew the match, Ramsay was slated by the press, and Astle was no longer chosen for the England first XI, despite being the top England striker in the 1st Division. If that Mexican defender had not put his hand in the way and Astle has scored, and England won, history could have been so different. Astle could have been England's main striker and England could have won the world cup again, maybe. "fickle business football". Didn't Astle miss a sitter against Brazil in the group match against Brazil?

18 months ago Suarez played for Liverpool, without him, Rodgers would have been nowhere near the title.

Brendan Rodgers is a complete utter tool. Why they appointed him in the first place God only knows, no great track record whatsoever. £30M on Bentecke, he wasted an inordinate amount of money over last couple of years but then again he gets a big pay off? I wonder which clown they'll appoint next? Liverpool a big club what a joke, they used to be not famous anymore! I wonder how much our 6-1 drubbing of the Scousers set the mould for Rodgers demise? He's so bad, he had the second best record of Liverpool managers in the Premier League, winning 63 of his 122 league games in charge for a win percentage of 51.64%. If Hughes wasn't our manager he'd be a complete and utter tool too.

You give someone 100m and then sack them 2/3 months later.
Absolutely mind blowing stupidity.
He should have been sacked at half time vs us at 5-0 down.

If I was a Liverpool fan, I'd want Ancelotti.
Klopp is a great character but he'd still be something of a gamble.
I'm not sure that Liverpool could actually attract a manager with a better pedigree than Ancelotti though.
No doubt they'll go for Klopp!

I have no idea how they're run, I just know his shitness made me laugh. They have a transfer committee at boardroom level that decide which players to buy and sell based on moneyball apparently, of which the manager has a certain amount of input. www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-fcs-transfer-committee---9575259

Rodgers own words “We will never bring in a player here who the manager doesn’t want in. That’s a great credit to the owners and the other people at the club.” Either way, he should still have done better with what he had, the way he set them up against us was pretty ridiculous.
