What's the odds on McLaren for a treble, Advocaat, Rodgers and surely McLaren to follow. Maybe slip in Sherwood for a Yankee.

Agreed, I would have sacked him after the game against us! To pick that formation and play so many players out of position showed he wasn't the man. I can't believe they backed him.

A real shame, I feel that's he's a manager we could've 'mugged off' on a regular basis.

Brendan Rodgers is a complete utter tool. Why they appointed him in the first place God only knows, no great track record whatsoever.
£30M on Bentecke, he wasted an inordinate amount of money over last couple of years but then again he gets a big pay off?
I wonder which clown they'll appoint next?
Liverpool a big club what a joke, they used to be not famous anymore!
I wonder how much our 6-1 drubbing of the Scousers set the mould for Rodgers demise?

Second best win rate out of previous Liverpool managers, 51%. The best is Beneitez with 56%.

Funny how things go, 18 short months ago he was within a Steven Gerrard slip of Liverpool's first title for nearly a quarter of a century and in the blink of an eye he has gone, fickle business football.

No surprise - he spent a fortune and didn't achieve anything.

The best is Beneitez with 56%. unfortunately though, that win rate is largely due to 2 seasons ago.can't keep hold of him based on that when he's had 46 league games since then and has done nothing but take almost premiership champions, spunked shitloads of money and turned them into just another top 10 side. Said himself when he took the job on "ut's a re-building process, judge me after three years"...they've done just done Brendan, bye mate!

Funny how things go, 18 short months ago he was within a Steven Gerrard slip of Liverpool's first title for nearly a quarter of a century and in the blink of an eye he has gone, fickle business football. Exactly right. In 1969(?) during a pre-1970 World Cup tour in Mexico, Jeff Astle shot at goal and the ball was stopped by a defender with his hand. Francis Lee missed the subsequent penalty, England drew the match, Ramsay was slated by the press, and Astle was no longer chosen for the England first XI, despite being the top England striker in the 1st Division. If that Mexican defender had not put his hand in the way and Astle has scored, and England won, history could have been so different. Astle could have been England's main striker and England could have won the world cup again, maybe. "fickle business football".

I have observed myself in today instant gratification society the thinness of the line between being perceived to be 'part of the problem' versus 'part of the solution'.
