Walters to Norwich exchange plus cash for Redmond. Would absolutely love to see this but can't see them moving Redmond on any time soon!

Why would Redmond move to a bottom three team .? When we all wake up to tomorrow and the window hears up that's what we will appear to players and agents alike . Winless ' seasons best player sold , balancing the books . Need to do something very material Over the next 48 hours but I suspect we won't .

We're a left winger short for definite, that was showed by having to play Affelay there today. We clearly need a centre back. That then at least frees Geoff to cover the midfield and I mean cover, Van Ginkel has to be persisted with. I was honestly embarrassed with Van Ginkel yesterday, absolutely terrible player but it's Stokes way of trying to get a square peg into a round hole by being tight fisted via a season long loan. Whelan was outstanding yesterday and has carried this lad so far this season. Get shut.

we lack strength and pace , so anything we can do to address that in any part of the team , just seen Palace again and they have both in abundance now , vital things in the modern game

with our current squad losing Walters would make little sense unless a strong player is brought in . Not sure about Crouch thought he was stopping but him and Joselu are too similar in style to need both of them

We have been crying out for a goal scoring forward for 2 seasons now.....powder puff finishing after all the pretty tap tappy will not be good enough this season for a top half finish. No, we have one.

The wing is our weakest area but we have to be ruthless to free up wages and squad places.
I'd still be absolutely gutted to see Walters leave as I still think he has a massive role to play here.
Wingie, Bardsley and Ireland (unfairly but with Adam and Bojan ahead of him he won't see much action) should be moved out if we can find suitors. This will free us up to go in hard for Moses who I think is the final piece of the jigsaw.

You do realise that what you post is a load of tedious bollocks don't you? Do you possess the qualities to actually rationalise what you type and to analyse the points you're trying to make with any semblance of balance and common sense before clicking 'create post'? Your predictions of doom read like a litany of false prophecies where you have been proven wrong at every turn, yet you continue to talk bile about the football club you keep saying you've supported for decades. You posted the same tired shit last year, have posted absolute rubbish all Summer and you're back here spouting the same tripe now, somehow professing to be some kind of oracle. Guess what? You were horribly wrong then, and there's every chance that Mark Hughes and the team will prove you're horribly wrong this time.

For the role Bojan is the main man and Adam back up, Afellay and MVG can step up with the merest of tweeks to the team. I'm a big Ireland fan and think he's under-rated by many but we have to try and look at which areas need trimming.

What a load of old bollocks this thread is, full of negative garbage from the regulars (biscuit and trigger). Idiotic Vale fans, gotta love em.
Walters is not going to get much game time with Shaqiri, Bojan and Arnie fit. One of him or Odemwingie simply have to go. I would keep Crouchy as I am not yet convinced on Joselu.
I think another winger would be useful but Moses would not be that man for me. Injured already this season and would cost around £8m. Better off bringing in a young loanee.
I think we will only bring in a new CB if we are likely to be able to offload Bardsley. Only Prem clubs are likely to afford his wages, so who does that leave? The promoted teams? Leicester? Sunderland????
That leaves CM, again only a likely signing if we can get rid of Sidwell.

Hmm its a difficult one. I'd say we need a winger if anything. I'm not overly convinced by the centre backs other than Muni and Shawcross however we'd very much need to sell. In an ideal world we'd also get some cover for Whelan.
Sidwell, Bardsley, Wolls or Wilson and Odem or Walters.
We stand a chance though of losing quite a chunk of our homegrown players if we sold most of the above.
Who would we bring in? I'd like Moses back but that would mean on a permanent and for the amount of time he's injured that could be quite costly.
Also if we are serious about giving youth a chance then the new lads in the U-21s must have been given some assurances that they would be rewarded with opportunities. We've got to make sure the likes of Moseley, Moha, Lecygne, Shenton, Molina, Telford and Waddington have a path to the first team if they perform well and its not blocked.

Who is this mythical CB better than all the ones we have who will come on loan until January?
I keep hearing people say it but no evidence such a player exists.

We are 3 players short even with the 9 signings we've made this window, most have been poor due tothe lack of investment and insistence on "freebies " . Hasn't worked !
Again we are bottom of the net spend league with the majority of the championship clubs spending more it's embarrassing.

Centre back and a winger.
Maybe a centre mid but we've probably got enough there just about.
